I grew up in Winslow, Arizona and spent many years in Texas. I now live in Salt Lake City and am retired from the Union Pacific Railroad and Delta Air Lines. Once I found out how many of my relatives had memorials on Find A Grave and how many more needed to be created, I was hooked.|
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
If you have extensive additions/changes to make to a memorial, please use the link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial.

Thanks, I'm checking on the name she was buried under. I have also fixed the date.
|SLJ||UPDATE RE: Williie Ann (Ogle) Holt # 131293804|
This morning I followed up on Willie and found a detailed obituary for Willie A. Holt in The Oregonian, Wednesday, February 19, 1986.
WILLIE A. HOLT

Mrs. Holt died Sunday in a Gresham care center. She was 94.

Surviving are a daughter; Eva Roberts of Gresham; two sons, Lloyd of Boring and Howard of Portland; a brother Wesley Ogle of Huston; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Here is the funeral notice for Willie Holt in The Oregonian, Tuesday, February 18, 1986 that I found yesterday.
HOLT - Willie, mother of Lloyd, Eva Roberts and Howard; sister of Wesley Ogle, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. at

|SLJ||Robert E Holt & Willie A Holt Updates|
I can now see why there is some confusion about the correct cemetery for these two folks. I just found a small funeral notice for Willie A. Holt and it says she was to be interred in the Forest Lawn Cemetery. However her obituary says it was the Gresham Cemetery. Now I'm not sure which is correct. I suspect that the correct cemetery is the Forest Lawn Memorial Park where her husband Robert is said to have been buried, rather than the Greshem Pioneer Cemetery. However I can't confirm this. You can ignore my updates if you wish.

You added him on to san fernando cem. 2. How did you know about him? Writing a book and was going to include him.

Yes, it would be Forest Lawn if she died around or after the time Sy Jr died.
|Jeff G.||Thank you !|
Thank you for the excellent photo of Aileen Butterfield's headstone at Greenwood cemetery. I know it was damp and chilly out there yesterday, so I'm extra appreciative of your determination. The photo sure looks nice on her memorial - thanks to you.

Thanks so much for the update on the George memorials. My grandmother was a George and I just happened to see these at the cemetery. I don't believe they are related, but will have to do some digging.
|Gary Johnston||RE: Lawrence Isbell|
Lawrence Isbell's daughter is still living. She is my first cousin. I have other documentation stating his 1st. wife was Lucille Uland. Lawrence & Lucille divorced and their daughter, my cousin, did not see her father again until shortly before he died. She has confirmed that this Lawrence Francis Isbell is her father. But many years have passed and his "trail" is hard to follow.

Ok - sorry too much on my old mind LOL
I will put her death date on her memorial - do you have her mother's death date too?
