Bio and Links
Bio Photo Lifelong resident of northeastern Illinois, I enjoy visiting the cemeteries and searching out headstones, photographing and posting them and trying to weave the links together of other family members in that cemetery or other ones nearby, so that other researchers can utilize my findings. My areas of particular interest are Lake County (where my family started off in this country), DuPage, Kane, DeKalb and Kendall counties, and also Morgan and Scott counties in southern Illinois. I'll also sometimes go out of my "comfort zone" if it's something that looks intriguing.
I try to arrange my photo expeditions according to my schedule and by areas, and of course by weather conditions. I only claim photo requests that I can absolutely fulfill, and try to fulfill them as promptly as possible.
As always, if you'd like to copy a photo, ask permission first in order to let me know how and where it's going to be used, and credit my work. Other than that, I'm happy to help you out in whatever way possible, just contact me.

Sorry, John has no stone.
I tried to find him last weekend but came up empty, so I contacted the office & found out he is buried in the "single adult" row & is buried next to Sarah Rechkemmer.
Let me know if you'd like the photo removed.

Just going through my photo requests and want to be sure I thanked you for doing this research. I do appreciate it, sorry it took me 6 mos+ to thank you!!

Chronicler of East Batavia Cemetery (and now manager of memorial)states there is no stone, and he has double checked to verify no stone has been added recently.

RE: Edward Chisholm
Great job!!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much for the pictures and the additional memorials that you added. My wife took one look at the snow in the pics and said, "wow, I think he must have cabin fever worse than you do". I can't wait to get outside....even at 10 below especially if there is sun and no wind. Robert and Sarah were the family matriarchs. That is the only reason I can think of as to why they are the only twon on the large memorial. Their remains were moved from the Channing Street Cemetery when it closed. I would imagine Oliver Perry was in charge of that as it happened right after his wife died. His wife, Sarah Jane Bishop Chisholm is my relative. My great grand aunt. Thanks again. I will write more when I get to linking the rest of the children to Robert Sr. and Sarah. Chuck Templin

RE: Robert Fick
Thanks for linking him to his parents. Robert is my 2nd cousin 1x removed. Yes, I was also wondering why his remains were abandoned? I have tried to research Marion but cannot prove anything about her. I have her maiden name as McCulla but do not know if that is the name she was born with or a married name?

Again thanks for being so fast in linking Robert to his mother and father.
