I am the first child of Elbert and Virginia A. M. Montgomery Hill. I was born Jan 06, 1940 in Gideon,MO.|
I am working on my mothers family the Montgomerys,Leaches, Masters, Jaco's.
I am also working on my fathers family the Hill's, McDermott's, Willis, & Armbruster's.
I am only trying to get my family on FAG and not trying to set a record of any sort. I do appreciate how much work so many people have done for this site, you guys are wonderful. I wish that I was able to do what you have done but my health makes it impossible.
I am also working on the Bess, Holmes, Sherrill, Evans, Schulers, Harms & Armistead for my husbands. God Bless all of you who work so hard on this site. If I make mistakes please let me know.

Are you by chance descended from Capt. Thos. H. Estes? I located a newspaper death notice for him. I can't locate his burial location, but it may be in Marshall Co., KY where he died.
Mary Francis was the daughter of Capt. Thomas Henry Clay Estes 1829-1893 And Arminta H Fraley 1829-1876.
She had 7 sibblings

I have met such nice folks since I joined Find A Grave and we all seem to have the same goal to have a site for genealogy research. I fell into it after retirement when I discovered this site doing my own family tree. Like you, I wanted my family members included. I don't have a large family so I branched out to do local cemeteries and I caught the bug. I get such a thrill when I answer a request or get a thank you for my photos. Hope we run into each other again.

Thanks Opal for working so fast on this one. I deleted my memorial for him and his wife Minnie. I don't like to waste space on duplicates either. But most important, we have them in the proper place. These things happen and it is good we could work together. My goal is to have everyone remembered and a tombstone photo when possible. I'm working as fast as I can before I run out of steam and time. I'm not a young person anymore. See you on Find A Grave in the future. I'm glad I could help. I learned something too.

I'm not too good at all things but here is a suggestion. Go to your page for Joe and hit edit on the cemetery. It will go to a page to fill in the cemetery name. Change the cemetery from Jackson to Russell Heights, U.S.A., and Missouri. Click and see if your memorial will go to the new location. If it does then I can post my tombstone on your memorial and delete the dupliction that is mine. This way all your good information stays and the only change is the cemetery location. Let me know if this works. I have been told there is a way to merge but since we are at different location I don't like that idea. If this don't work then I'll write Find A Grave and let them handle it.

This is my suggestion for this duplication. I am now working on the Jackson City cemetery where you said Joe E.William and wife are buried. Let me see if I can come up with a stone for them there. If not, then I would say that you have the couple put in the wrong cemetery. Sometimes when you look at a D.C. they will just put Jackson and it could be either Russell Heights or Jackson City. I'm finding a lot of errors like that. I think the Find A Grave rule is the tombstone is the true location. I'll keep a note on my desk and follow up with this later. If you move your memorial we could merge or I'll delete my newer one. Must be sure of location first. Have you ever seen a stone at Jackson City for them?
