RE: Alfred Osborn
Hi Sharon,
It has been a while since I heard from you.... I have been working on quite a few genealogy puzzles. Have I talked with you since we traveled to Cornersburg, Ohio and I took photos of as many of the Osborn Family, from Nicholas to quite a few of his children.... I do not remember who I got it from, but some one sent me a photo of a young Nicholas Osborn.. I treasure....
I have met several of the descendants of Alfred and Josephine Osborn..... One is in Indiana and the other is in Chicago. Also, Shirley, a granddaughter if Alfred and Josephine died and has been added to the cemetery in Alsip.
I have to admit that it is taking me a while to get my wits back about my genealogy family ......
I did find out that Sylvester was buried in the National Cemetery in Sacramento, CA.
Just letting you know if I get funds to travel next year, I will be pushing hubby to go to New Jersey, Philadelphia and Loudan, Virginia to do more Research

RE: Alfred Osborn
I am sorry to have taken so long getting to this... I am stumped as to who you are.... I thought the date of birth and death was on the headstone photo that I posted....
I have Alfred and Josephine's headstrone as well as several other members of their family...
And I do not want to come across as not appreciating your info, But I do believe that I already have it in my files and in my book....
But, again, I will check. I have been researching this Osborn family for 12 years and my latest bit of info comes from 2 grand daughters of Alfreds...
Probably Great Granddaughters... I was working with a gentleman from Cleveland, but I know that he has passed away several years ago... I have been to the Cornersburg cemetery where Nicholas Osborn is buried... My next trip out will be to Youngstown to find the graves of Amos and Hannah Bunnell Osborn... You may reach me at
Nyt3Writ3r@aol.com I am near Grand Rapids, Michigan.... Do you by any chance know where Florence and her Daughter Olive ended up. She was married to David Bossineau (without my book in front of me that spelling might be wrong, sorry)
