Find A Grave is just that. A grave and cemetery data site. We record graves, and cemeteries. Majority of the graves I record are based on the headstones. I always welcome further information for any memorial.
I am a Find A Grave Photo Volunteer. Please let me know if there is one in my area that you are looking for.(Dent, Crawford, Texas, or Phelps Counties in Missouri)
You may use any of my photos without further permission.
I have no problem making transfers of the memorials I am not related to. I am not related to most of them. I welcome suggestions, corrections and additions. The easiest way is thru the Suggest a Correction tab at the top of the memorial you would like to have either transferred, edited, corrected or just to contact me.
I check my e-mail around once a week. I will get all corrections made, or I will contact you to as why I can't.
Please make use of the Virtual Cemetery Option we have to gather friends and families.
I love to use the Virtual Cemetery option we have. I am currently making a Virtual Cemetery of Titanic Survivors and Victims. If you run across a memorial that could be added to my Titanic Virtual Cemetery, please let me know.
I have also started a September 11, 2001 Virtual Cemetery.
Both of these Virtual Cemeteries are labors of love, honor and respect.
------------------------------ Note: I had almost 500 memorials transferred to me from a member who no longer wanted to volunteer. This is why the numbers are so different from my added to managed. ------------------------------
I made a memorial for Lucy Jane's mother tonight. I was thrilled to find Lucy Jane's memorial so that I could link her to her mom, "Martha Jane Branson Haislip". (I have not made a memorial for her dad yet.)
She is correctly linked to her husband, "Henry W. Lape"; but her "maiden name is spelled wrong". It is "Haislip". Her father was "Samuel Haislip" (not Harrison Holiz). Lucy Jane died in the influenza epidemic of 1918.
I submitted edits through the memorial page itself, but I wanted to explain my edits to you.
Lucy Jane's mother was a sister to my 2-great's-grandpa. I'm trying to tie-up loose ends on my family & get them linked to their loved ones.
Thank You for making her memorial & for your help!
I was wondering if you would be interested in transferring Ester E. Leonard Wall over to me, she is my 2rd great aunt on my mothers side and if not I have some other info for you. Thank you for your consideration.
Ester Leonard # is 28409952 My # is 47413970
Thank you for all your work, it is greatly appreciated.
