I have been a volunteer photographer for over a year with FindAGrave and have really enjoy doing this. I have always enjoyed helping people and this is just another way to do that. I'll be happy to take pics in the Dale county area. A lot of nice folks w/FindAGrave and I'm proud to be one of the volunteers|

We both have left flowers for Bear Bryant. Can you please leave flowers for his good friend Michigan State coaching Legend Duffy Daugherty 24817256 when my friend Cynthia 75864427 was a freshman and Brad Van Pelt 33971483 was a senior when Duffy coached his last season. Thank You

Maam I wish I could and I would.
You try and see.

|Diane Merkel||RE: Pic request|
You are very welcome, Kaye. The timing of your request was right since I was going to attend the 100th Anniversary celebration of the cemetery this week. The sun was straight above his military stone, so I had to darken the contrast. I will try to get a better photo at another time. I did put the combined headstone photo on his wife's memorial page. She was much-loved by many here. -- Diane

Glad to help. I was in the same boat as you at one time looking for info on family members that were in a different area from me and a volunteer helped me out.
I got interested and once I got started found that is was rewarding and fun,no offense. It gives me something else to do as a change of pace.
|Jay McCaddin||RE: Marker photo|
Found them,Mabrey and Mary. Posting on grave web site.

Is the request for a marker photo still valid? I can see what I can do,if not the request needs to be deleted. I see where the request was made a few years ago.
Kaye, Thank you so much for getting the marker photo for me and getting it on Find A Grave. It is greatly appreciated.

I see you have a few Dunlaps, Bushs, Tews, Bedsoles, and Hodges. My great grandparents were Lonie Bell Bush and J.W. Dunlap and I have very little information on them. I know Lonie's mother was Dillie Smith from Henry Co., AL. married William L. Bush born 1851. They took Lonie's and J.W. kids to raise cause they died young. They went to Holmes, Nora, Fl with horse and wagon from Henry Co, Al. to pick up the kids and raise them. That's all I know. I can't find William L, Bush's parents. Any information I would greatly appreciate. Thank you
Janet Piearcy Collum
