We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

RE: susan cadieux murder
Dear Kathy, I actually gave major crimes in London Ontario my DNA but as my family is connected to another present day murder, I find out after the fact that Canada does not use familial dna for cold cases, and even though I was told it would only be used for the cold cases that might involve my father, it was a lie, they used it to narrow down dna in the Lisa Johnson Leckie murder, one of the main suspects was my nephew, Lisa's ex husband or soon to be ex husband at the time of her passing. It hurt me very much that Detective Bezaire lied to me about using it for the cold case and using it against my nephew. I don't care if they used it in the 5 year old case, but the truth would have done. I don't think killers and rapists should go free whether they are related to me or not. All the detective had to do was ask me for the right reason, but they are allowed to lie to get what they want no matter who they hurt. I found out shortly after that unless I was the suspect and the criminal who left the dna at the scene of the crimes way back when, no match and no partial match would be found. they don't do partial matches. in Canada,as of yet. thanks for responding, you sure know a lot about how to reach the police, but I have told them the story of my father, they are not interested in solving those cases. won't get any feathers in their bonnets for that I guess. Hope your not the detective presently working on my nieces murder, because this would be very insulting, as I do believe the woman in charge of that case now is named Kathy. But no insult intended as she was not in charge of the Leckie case when this DNA lie was told. Then the detective in charge called and asked me if My eldest sister, Lisa's mother in Law, was my blood sister, well I always thought she was until I got that phone call, and no way would he tell me why he was asking. I know who murdered Lisa and so do they, they just can't prove it. with a child taking dna back and forth from each parents house it makes it difficult to prove this case, if it had anything to do with the ex's household the child could have dragged the dna from the other household. I don't think my Nephew had any part in it, and had no knowledge of what was going on, but I think he does know now, and is stuck in the middle of a huge mess. He is trying to wait until his son is old enough to care for himself, before he lets the police know what he knows, at least I think that is what is going on. He is a good man and I knew him all through his childhood, he would not be a part of this and take his sons childs mother away from him thanks for answering.

susan cadieux murder
do you have some relationship to this case. I feel my father may have been her abductor, he molested my sister and I, our babysitter in 1960, He was in the area and went to the church she was taken from. He had just come back to London from his winter training in Manitoba, he served in the military and had a hat like the one in the sketch. 3 other children I played with in London, our neighbors came to me after he died to tell me what he did. I offered my dna to police but we don't use Familial dna in Canada, but I tried. I know what it is like to be his victim. I just wanted to help but the police do not want help with these cold cases. If I could help in any way to put susan to rest I would. I hated him for what he did to my life and my friends. Eileen Howard Fralick
