Bio Photo "It seems to me that the earth may be borrowed but not bought. It may be used but not owned. It gives itself in response to love and tending.... But we are tenants and not possessors, lovers and not masters. The Planet belongs to the wind and the rain, to the sun and the seasons, to the cosmic secrecy of seed, and beyond all, to time."

My mother passed away in 1999 and I was the recipient of boxes and boxes of old photographs and memorabilia from courageous departed ancestors who emigrated here and my interest in genealogy began. Now, with the help of Find A Grave, I have been able to locate many family members' graves. Thanks for helping fill in the blanks. And now that I have become a volunteer, I hope to pay it forward.

I have received the invite and taken a quick peek at your tree. I am extremely impressed! I will be looking on it further as time permits. How long have you been researching?

I think she is still active, at least that is my impression by looking at some of her messages on her bio page. I would love to see your tree, thanks so much for offering that to me. My email is You can also find my email on my bio page just above my list of messages from other Find A Grave members.

I will look forward to the invite :)

RE: Mary Warren Bartlett

Thanks so much for the reply to my question. Just beginning this week working on this ancestor line of my husband's so haven't researched much online yet. I'll search for those lists you mentioned. Wish Find A Grave member Margaret would get the location changed. I also contacted her about another memorial where I know for a fact she has the wrong location, and I doubt at this point if she will respond. Just had an email from another member telling me Margaret is not too good with responding to edits, etc.

Mary Warren Bartlett
I see that last year you placed a flower on the memorial for Mary Warren Bartlett (#67781667) with the following message:
"Mary Warren Bartlett was not buried here in White Horse Cemetery in Manomet...she was buried at Burial Hill, Plymouth. The information on this memorial is incorrect." Find A Grave member "margaret", who made and maintains this memorial, has not changed the cemetery location. I just found this memorial which is for my husband's 10th G-Grandmother and I would like to get correct info on where she is buried. Can you tell me your source for the cemetery you believe she is buried in? I already have a few queries I've sent to "margaret" this week that so far she hasn't responded to and this is not the first info on one of her memorials that is incorrect. Any help you can give me with this cemetery location would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mary Bahl
RE: Bahl
Hi Charlene: Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I've traced my ancestry back to Illinois, Wadsworth County, through the Delaney family. But I don't see anyone named David Bahl so far; my Bahl relatives came from Germany and Saratove Russia.
