Bio Photo Genealogy & Family Trees without documentation is worthless.

If you want corrections made please use the EDIT tab. It makes it a lot easier to go to the site and make changes.
If the memorial number is not included in the correction request, there is no guarantee the changes will be made.
If you see some of your kin and would like to manage the memorial let me know and I'll be glad to release it to you.
I am not concerned about the number of memorials I manage.
I am very concerned about accuracy.

I don't know who wrote this poem but how true it is.

Wandering among the stones I see
The stones so weathered and worn
‘Tis difficult to find the date
On which the babe was born

I stare at the stone and am struck with awe
At the life that I knew was gone
This was someone's child, a babe so sweet
With loved ones to carry on

So I take a photo for all to see
For the family that remains
An everlasting memory of
A child of God's domain

I brush the weeds back from the stone
And say a silent prayer
For the babes that had no chance to live
And for mothers everywhere

The dove calls out it's mourning song
Among the stones so still
Echoes of the woes, through time
The choirs of despair

The stone will someday perish
The flowers will be gone
But a photo now remains of this
Their memory lives on!

And so my friend, don't hesitate
To film the weathered stone
Those who live within your hearts
Are never truly gone

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

RE: Dale D Gamblin and Gale Garrell Gamblin
Its on my GeneFool Find A Grave...

I am still piecing together some info. Thelma
Gamblin denied a request on some info. She feels
her information conflicts with my dates.
Ona's Find A Grave Number is 150469798
GeneFool's. If you have time you can call me.
I can send my phone number on your regular Email
address since I dont post my personal info here.
Armour Gamblin has been married to Gertrude Hitt
too. I Dont post information unless I have all of it or I have citations for it. There are two Joseph or
Josiahs. But I visited Chapel Hill Cemetery two weeks ago.
Eliza Gamblin was married to John P Gamblin and
and John P Gamblin was married more than once.
Crazy! I have half-cousin, step-cousins and double cousins. LOL

RE: Uncle Clifford dob
Sorry. That would be for Clifford O. (Oscar) Cox buried in McKendree Cemetery. Also if you would like to link him to parents they are Oscar V. (Vance) Cox and Merle Anna TYE Cox who are buried at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, southeast of Odessa, MO. If I can be of any more help with the Cox family I will be glad to do so. I am your Aunt Fay Cox Barker's niece.

RE: Joan Rigdon #39964931
The trees I see on say his wife was Ona Fay Powell (or Naomi), born 1901 in NC, died Aug 26 1988 in Longview, WA. I should be able to find her obituary in the library. She is buried with him, but she lived a long time after he died.

Dale D Gamblin and Gale Garrell Gamblin

I have a great picture with my father and his
identical twin with my mother and my Grandmother
Lela, Earle Wayne Perkins Jr and Helen Dean Perkins who was the step-mother to Harley Perkins. Everyone has since passed. Is a
picture I received from my Lela pictures
when she died.

I have also located the OBIT for Ona Pease 'Pearl' Perkins Johnson.

Since you manage Gales Grave I just wanted your
permission to post it. You can check out my
memorials to see what I have posted for the
William Johnson and Ona P Perkins Johnson side of the family.

I know when I talked to you last via phone
my number has changed. Are you still at your
email address?

Thanks ALOT!

Joan Rigdon #39964931
Do you know of this Joan Rigdon? I found her listed in a document of burials at Whittle & Hubbard Cemetery - that name and those dates, the only Rigdon listed. But at the cemetery I found John F. Rigdon, born 1902, died 1934. I found death certificate information for him saying he died Nov 8 1934 in Ryderwood, Cowlitz Co, WA, son of W.T. and Laura Baird Rigdon. Any chance Joan is actually John?

Uncle Clifford dob
Thanks for posting Uncle Clifford's information. He was born 16 Jul 1918 in Boone County Arkansas (if you would like to add it to your memorial site.) If you would like any other information on the Cox family and I can help, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am, however, only on rarely as I do not have internet access at home. Thanks, Cecillia

RE: William Rigdon
You are welcome. I have more to enter. Spent a day in Pittsburgh two weeks ago, visted 6 cemeteries and stood next to 6 of my direct family, back to William my 4th great-grandfather.

Betty Rigdon
James, I had posted a request photo for Betty Rigdon, who is buried with Gilbert Rigdon but then realized the name on it was U. Waneta b July 16, 1931. I deleted it thinking I must have the wrong person. Would this happen to be the same person? If so, I'll put the picture back on. I'm so sorry but when I did this, it took the request off. Thanks for your help. Judy
