I am unable to travel to different cities to search for gravesites of our relatives. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found the Find a Grave website and all the wonderful, helpful people on it. I have found so many of our relatives listed and have had wonderful people that have been willing to search and take photos for us. |
If you would like to use one of my photos on your family tree, help yourself but please list me as the one that took it.
DO NOT use my hard work on another cemetery website or put your name as the contributor on one of my photos. That's just not fair or considerate.
If you have data that you would like for me to add to the memorials that I have created, please send it to me and I will update it as soon as possible.
I am posting memorials using the Find a Grave guidelines as I see them. If it is not to your liking, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT respond back to hateful and ranting messages. So don't bother to send them.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that I have listed to a family member if they are not in my family's trees. Please be sure to add your member #, the person's ID number and your reason for wanting the transfer when making the request.
A new situation has come up - If you don't have the integrity to accept messages, please don't bother to sending me one!

I am not giving up just yet. I am going to go to the chambers of commerce and see if they can help me find a volunteer group to clean up the cemetery so to speak. The biggest problem at this cemetery is the buried/half buried/fallen/cracked stones. I know it is usually the descendant (immediate family) that is supposed to take care of the stones but I think most of them either moved on or are now deceased.

Forgot to mention that Betty Ann's stone is located behind George and Eliza Mangum.

I also added the grave of Betty Ann Mangum - 130360580. This child lived 2 days in 1948. There was also another stone next to Betty Ann's that was dated 1947. This one was overgrown with thick grass and I could get the name. Perhaps you can link Betty Ann with her family.

I filled two of your photo requests for George W. and Eliza J Mangum today.
I also added Elvy L "Little" Mangum, Jr who I assume is a relative.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.

Thank you for transfering my kinfolks in Brazoria Co. Tx. Together, we have a memorial that can be a link to future generations.
