|Robert Harding||William Lemmond Simpson|
I am interested in getting info on William Lemmond Simpson. He is my 3rd great grandfather and I have his picture that I got from my 90 year old grand uncle that hangs on his wall. He is a Simpson that comes from William Lemmond Simpson >> Alexander Durant Simpson >> Rosser Alexander Simpson >> he (Alexander Durant Simpson). He lives in the Long Creek area and still goes to Hopewell Presbyterian.
Can you help?

I'm sorry i do not understand what name you are suggesting for this infant. Its memorial number is 76701741. Please clarify and I will be glad to change my memorial.
|Bryan Aldridge||Nimrod Lunsford Family Cemetery|
I was wondering if you could tell me where on Sam Poole Road in Alexander County, NC is the family cemetery of Nimrod Lunsford. Is it behind someone's home or what ? Once I turn onto Sam Poole Road how far up the road and what side of the road is it on ?
I am a direct descendant of Nimrod Lunsford and I would like to visit the grave. I descend from his son Eli Lunsford from the wife Elizabeth Wyatt.

Thanks a lot. Keeping up with the family tree is fun.

Could you please transfer management of memorial # 128010305 Billie Stephen Hollar to me. The infant was my uncle's child. Thanks, Carl Hollar, member # 48182163.

You are very welcome!

We all make dupes unintentionally, including me, but when I spot them I generally send a note to the one who posted them. What's difficult is having someone buried with one name (sometimes a nickname), but born with a different, or if a female being married more than once, or being adopted, etc. My biggest complaint is members entering burials in cemeteries that no longer exist, or were named something else years ago, or changed names now, etc.
If I can help you with any records in this area of NC, let me know.

Thanks for the bio...just as a side note for you. It is said around here that those soldiers died from a flu epidemic here in Campbell County, hence the "considerable" reduction in size of the regiment.
