I began my genealogical research in 1981 after the death of my maternal grandmother and prior to the death of my paternal grandmother. While my paternal line moved to the West Coast in 1871, much of my research has been on relatives who lived in the mid-West or South (WI, IL, MO, TX, KY, OK, TN, etc.).|
Surnames that I am researching include: Cochran, Mangan, Eagan, Cole, Whooley, Bayley, Baader, Fleischman(n), Schmitz, Mertens, Reinhardt, Brown, McBratney, and McLaughlin.
If you find an error in any of my listings or if there is something you want to add, please let me know. [Use the Edit tab of the memorial in question.]
If you wish to use one of my posted photos, I would appreciate it if you would ask first and include how you wish to use the photo. If granted, acknowledgement of the source of the photo would be appreciated.

I am sorry that it took me so long. I had to wait for the snow to melt. They are located in the exact corner of the cemetery. You can see a bit of the edges of the cemetery in the paired picture. Should you ever wish to visit, they are probably about the easiest people there to find. Also, they do have nice decorations. Someone is keeping them up nicely.
You are very welcome. Marsing-Homedale is so far away that I always appreciate a good reason to go there. It is a really nice place.
Thank you for the additional information on the burial plot of Dorothy and Clifford Honza.

Thank you so very much for following through with my request and for locating my grandfather's grave.
I do plan to make a trip to Santa Rosa this spring. Peggy asked me to give her a week to 10 days notice so that she can get the information together. I am so relieved to have made this connection.

Not really, but I probably have them on find a grave. I have the Hoff tree on Birkenhoerdt.net. in Germany. I was stumped on Anna and Sidney as I could never get past Helen and Dorothy. Had been told where they had moved to but that was it. Am still trying to locate where Anna and Sidney are buried.

Anna Hoff Smith, daughter of Jacob and Anna Hoff, is my husband's aunt. Maybe two Anna Hoffs who married two Sidney Chapelle Smith from England?
His mother was Emma Chapelle, father, James Smith. He came into USA through Canada. I have marriage cert. and naturalization, so I know names are correct, plus a court record from a lawsuit.

I am wondering if Helen could be a cousin. Her father would have been Sidney Smith.
