I've been doing genealogy research on and off since 1994. My research has my family origins back to the late 1600s in Germany and the Alsace region of France. The early 1800s took both sides of the family to the Gluckstal and Kutschurgan colonies in South Russia, now known as Moldova and Ukraine. The late 1800s to early 1900s again brought both sides of the family to North and South Dakota and scattered across the West.
I'm currently located in Northern Virginia.
Surnames of interest: Schilling, Martel, Wahl, Keszler, Erck, Schlosser, Thomas.
Particular interest in documenting female ancestors.
