I have been researching my family lines for over 30 years. Over the years, I have found wonderful family members who were/are researching the same lines as I, whom I still keep in contact with. The earth may look big . . .but thanks to the internet and fellow researchers, the earth doesn't appear to be that big after all. HAPPY RESEARCHING! | |

 | Dock Cole Cousin Julie -- what are you doing adding information to this Doctor J. Cole? Are you related to him as well ?? :)
He also was married to my cousin Alice Ailee Styles of Yancey County

 | Markers Well, I hope so. Sometimes I hesitate to add one to a family member's memorial in case there's a reason you wouldn't want it, which is why I asked. When I go to cemeteries to fill photo requests, I always take photos of markers I especially like also, and those of any with the same surname, just in case they're related. I'm glad I could do this for you. | | | So Sad Missing Dad ♥
 | RE: James Ellis Ferguson marker Yes, he and I have that in common! I was going to put a guitar as his "flower" but then saw he was your dad, so had to put one of my "Dad" tokens instead. | | | So Sad Missing Dad ♥
 | Ferguson Hi Julie, I was at National today and got photos of your dad's and grandparents' markers. Hope they're ok. Sue | | | Dennis & Jean Boyer

 | RE: James Ellis Ferguson No, it wasn't thru ancestry but I will be more careful, as I don't want to post anything that is not correct. | | | Rob Hackler
 | RE: James Ellis Ferguson Sorry, I deleted. I don't even remember doing that, but I guess I did.

 | RE: Brown - Clem Glad you joined the UDC! Now how about the DAR! You can use Isaacher then!! That would be great if you can get him a marker. Did you ever find the tomb stone? I would also like to get a War of 1812 marker for James C. Brown in Shenandoah Co now that I know where he is. | | | MHCharles
 | Brown - Clem Julie,
I figured it out. Never mind about my email. Also, you should link William Newton Brown to his parents. I would like to know if James Sherman Brown's body was returned and buried at Slate Hill. I'll bet it was.

 | Fergusons According to Natt, Calvin Edney was the father. So they are really Edneys instead of Fergusons. But there is no way to verify that except family talk I don't think. | | | | [View all messages...] |
