|I am retired. I have been doing genealogical research on my family lines for about 20 years. For the past few years I've put my research on the "back burner" but now that I've retired, I'm back into it. I enjoy going through cemeteries and each headstone tells only a very short history of that person's life. I now get to do several of my favorite hobbies, all at the same time, history, genealogy research, photography, walking through cemeteries, and motorcycle riding. |
Not all of the headstones I list are family lines. If you find a correction or have additional information, just let me know.
If you have any ATWELL'S and transfer them to me, I'll take good care of them, but I will not transfer any ATWELL'S.
In the future, please use the change buttons that FAG has provided. I do check these to see if they are correct, so if it seems to be in error, I will decline them.
I will not link unknown burials.
DUE TO NUMEROUS FALSE EDITS AND MAKING EDITS FOR A CONTRIBUTOR AND THEN ANOTHER CONTRIBUTOR SAYING THAT EDIT WAS INCORRECT, VERIFICATION OF EDITS WILL BE REQUIRED OR THAT EDIT REQUEST WILL BE DENIED. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN EDIT BE PREPARED TO PROVE IT.
I've started putting G.P.S. locations on some memorials. The accuracy is supposed to be within 16 feet, so this should put you in the close proximity of the memorial. Not too bad for satellites 12,600 miles in space.

|Van Hutto||G S Hutto Father|
Mr Atwell- I'm trying to link George S Hutto who I believe is my G3 Grandfather to his father. I believe this the genealogy: German born Isaac Hutto (Otto) (1685 – 1752) came from Switzerland with his family on the ship "Oliver" into Charleston, SC in July 1735. His family included his wife, Maria Catherina, and at least four children. They were Anna, born about 1723; Charles, 1722; Sarah, 1726; and Peter, 1727. The important one to me I believe is Charles (1722-1780) Birth: 1722, Germany, Death: 1780 Orangeburg County South Carolina. His son, Charles Jr (1755-1817) was father to the first George Solomon and born in S.C. died in Alabama (1797-1882). George begat George S. Hutto (1825-1881)(Civil War/Texas Hutto) who begat G.S. Hutto (1863-1935) who begat Charles Ezra (1902-1983) named for his Great-Great Grandfather who begat Johnny C. Hutto. Does your research support this? Thanks!
Many thanks for adding the links!

Thank for you posting a photo of my brother's headstone in Graceville, Florida. I live in Idaho and have not been able to visit his final resting place in Florida. His ashes are split between Florida and Council Bluffs, Iowa for family.

I have a newspaper article about their deaths. One brother killed the other and then himself. Didn't know if you might be interested in that or doing a memorial telling the story briefly. My email is email@example.com If you want it email me and I'll send it to you. (img 0175)

Sarah Pynes, #66664888, was my 4th great grandmother. I wanted to know if you would transfer her memorial to me? I am only asking for those that are in my direct line.

Hi Don, I am trying to get information to you so you can approved edits. Sarah Knowles Pope Stevenson 31701489 married Jesse E Pope 31701569
Dec 3 1882 in Henry Co Al. Daughter Anna Pope was born Nov 6 1886 31701456. Jesse E Pope is her father-not Samuel Redman Stevenson 31701532.
Anna Pope first married Andrew Jackson Corbin then a Mr Huff. So Corbin is not Anna's middle name-just a first marriage name. thank you so much for edits-you are doing a great job!

|Barbara Sanders||Find A Grave Memorial# 47999165 Martin Van Buren Capps|
Martin Van Buren Capps is my husband's 2nd G Grandfather. I am fairly new at this so will appreciate your explanation and help. I saw a note to read the rules for UNKNOWN, so I looked to see what I could find. Looks like I cannot create a permanent memorial for someone if I do not know where they are buried, correct? Is that the only reason you rejected the edit or is there another reason? I will delete the memorial for Hamilton Capps but if you have other information on this family line I would appreciate your sharing. I have noticed that you manage many of the Capps and Murphys (both my husband's family) and many in Pleasant Grove and Fellowship. Are you related to them?
