|I began transcribing cemeteries in 2008 by walking a section of Oakwood in Montgomery Co, Ala. Eight years later I have come to the inevitable conclusion that, due to ongoing health issues, my days of walking cemeteries are over. I may from time to time add folks I know but I am just not physically able to continue this endeavor that I love. Please bear in mind that Find A Grave works only because of volunteers such as myself. People move, they die, they lose interest, internet connections, camera's break, cars & people too. =) |
Regardless of what you may have heard, I still hold the copyright to my photos so please ask before using any elsewhere on the web. Personally, I strive to take the best photo possible for every marker. In particular the Confederate graves because those men.. those men and their sacrifices whether anyone agrees with their beliefs or not, deserve nothing less. Some of them went into the ground and glory without even a name.
