I love FindAGrave. It is a great way to honor those that are no longer with us and preserve history for future generations.
Please visit baby Zack's memorial and leave him a flower. I miss him so much.

Find A Grave Memorial# 48324527
Has an error. This was my grandfather and he was survived by his daughter Helen Countz. Could you please correct the last name of the other daughter who was my mother?

Thank you. I am new to this site.

I believe this grave at University of Verginia is the son of Louisa Elizabeth Lile based on the obituary. I would like to see them linked.

I am researching my Lile family roots. Thank you for your work here it is very valuable. I am grand daughter of BB Comer Lile. He would have been the nephew of William and grandson of Louisa.

I'm so sorry but I don't remember if I answered your request. The graves do have a fence surrounding them. It is located on private property and is confusing to find I'm sure. I can go but haven't thought about the roads and little streets so it will take me a little time. You may have found it by now. Again I'm sorry if I didn't answer you before.

|Mrgave68||William McElderry's -Mother|
In his Bio, you mentioned writing on his grave asking if Eliza Boteler was the mother of William. Here is a site www.cookehouse.com that details many of the McElderry family. Eliza was the mother of William, she passed away 08 Dec 8,1829. William Henry was born December 1827. he would of been just she of his 2nd birthday when his mother died. Hope this site helps!! Thanks for your memorials and hard work!

|Mike||William J Sparkman #45479386|
I have been researching a branch of the Slife family here in Ohio who married into the Sparkman family of Alabama. My specific research question is with regard to WILLIAM LEWIS SPARKMAN and his wife NAOMI SLIFE SPARKMAN. The obituary that was posted on Find A Grave gives their names as WILLIAM J SPARKMAN AND SIOME SLIFE.
In spite of the misspelled names, I am fairly confident that this is the couple I am researching because of the 4 orphaned children mentioned in the obituary who were farmed out to family in OH and in AL. I have found census records for them in 1900 and 1910 living in OH, IN & AL. They were apparently moved around.
My question is this. Did you find any record for Naomi Slife Sparkman's death? Do you know if she died in Dectur, AL? Was there any other information about the family that you found? I checked with the Decatur City Cemetery, and they said they have no record of her burial there. I am guessing that she died within a year or two of her husband William L Sparkman. Hard to imagine she wasn't buried with him.
Any guidance you can give me would be very much appreciated. Thank you for you help, and all the work you obviously have put into the Find A Grave project. Mike

|Ray and Marty||RE: Philpott Cemetery|
Have you ever been to Philpott Cemetery in Morgan County. I saw GPS coordinates on Find A Grave but I could not see it mentioned in Morgan County, Alabama Cemeteries Vol 1. Says its off Bluff City Road on Find A Grave but I do not know whose land etc.
Thanks for any help
