Bio Photo I've been researching my family history for over thirty years, inspired by the stories and tidbits that my Grandmother could relate for hours on end. I was especially happy to be able to verify most of her stories in the written and published records. I have also done research on my wife's lines and was amazed to find that my 15-Greats and her 16-Greats Grandfather were one in the same which makes us 16th Cousins, once removed.

I will be happy to transfer a memorial subject to the guidelines of Find-A-Grave

Permission is hereby granted to copy and use any photo that I have added to Find-A-Grave. Credit for the photo would be appreciated, but is not a requirement.

Viola Bradley Hopkins
I believe this is same Viola I've searched for.
If so, she was sister of my grandmother, Mary 'Mollie' Bradley of Wayne County, MS. Their father was George Bradley and the mother was Rebecca Jane.
I've searched forever to identify Rebecca and her family. If this is the same person, please reply here.Thanks. Shirley

Sarah Hill Belts
Hi there!

I've been doing research for a WWI memorial here in Mobile, Alabama. I'm looking for information on Abe Belts whom I believe was married to Sarah Hill Belts. Ancestry had a link to your page so I'm hoping you can give me some guidance on her information. I would greatly appreciate any assistance!

RE: William Edward Powell
Thanks for the links.

He must not have liked the middle name his parents gave him. It was clearly shown as Edmond on his WWI Draft Reg.

John Cleveland
Thank you for finding John Cleveland, husband of Comfort Gilbert..I have been researching my Cleveland line. I cannot not find the grave to their son Ulysses T. Cleveland. Finally found where his daughter Palestine Cleveland was buried in a newspaper article all linked on Find A Grave. In his will it shows he died there in Mobile, Alabama. Many relatives buried there. Hope you can find him. Thanks Margaret

"Horst" Graves
Thank you for adding Albert Horst #155381709; Willie Horst #155381720; Jimmie Horst #155381687; and Lizzie Horst #155381676 - all at Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama.

The Horst family are my ancestors - Henry Horst is my 3x-great-uncle. The four "children" are not relatives but slaves (or former slaves) of the family. Henry had them moved and interred in their family plot.

I have attempted to remove their "parents" but I'm not sure it will stick. I also have no idea if they even took the name "Horst".

If you would, I would love for you to transfer them to me. I have a family history blog and told their story, along with the poem inscribed on each headstone, which I'd love to add.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much for transferring this memorial to me. I'm new to the Find A Grave community and will figure it all out sooner or later. I can tell you have contributed a LOT and very much appreciate all the work you have put into this site.
