Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working on my own family tree since about the Fall of 1999. I started this project by doing transcripts of my own family's cemeteries and taking photos of the stones. I am sure this is how most folks get started doing this kind of thing.

On my father's side, I am researching these names; Campbell, Clouse, Donalson, Edwards, Elam, Engle, Faris/Farris, Gillum/Gilliam, Harris, Hodge/Hodges, Hutton, Keck, Owsley and Riddle at this time. These surnames are from Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas, with ties to England, Germany and Scotland.

On my mother's side, I am researching these names; Cantley, Clay, Gibbs, Rorrer/Rohrer and Turner at this time. These surnames are from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia, with ties to Switzerland, Germany and England.

RE: Clarence Turner
It was my pleasure. My camera died on me so I had to use my cell phone. I hope the quality wasn't too bad.

RE: John S McDonald
Three Mary McDonalds were interred in the Carolina Cemetery. Neshoba County, MS, but not Mary (McNair) McDonald.

Mary (McNair) McDonald, who was buried in Reilly Springs Cemetery was born.
Dec. 3, 1803 in NC
and died in Hopkins County on 16-Jan-1878. As the widow of Neill S. A. McDonald, she emigrated from Neshoba County, MS, to Hopkins County, TX in 1867.

In the 1870 Hopkins Co., TX, Census, granddaughter Amanda Stribling was enumerated in the household of her grandmother, Mary McNair McDonald. Amanda's mother, Jane Smiley McDonald Stribling had died 22 May, 1869. When Mary died, she was buried beside her daughter, Jane Smiley McDonald Stribling. Mary (McNair) McDonald was a founding member of Carolina Presbyterian Church, Neshoba Co., MS. Mary was enumerated in Neshoba Co., MS, in 1850 and in 1860.
