Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love learning about my ancestors and who I come from. I enjoy helping others climb their family tree as well. I am a member of the DAR and and can assist with lineage for applications. It's my pleasure to help others honor those that came before. I love connecting with distant cousins.

If you are interested in connecting with kin, I urge you to leave flowers with a note on memorial sites. State that you are related to the person and that you are open to connecting with others. I have had people reach out to me thinking I'm related, and no way of knowing who requested the photo months later.

If a photo does not make sense, please click it and view the comments. Often if no marker is present or a marker does not have an inscription, I will include a photo of the plot or marker and explain in the comments.

Please feel free to use the photos I have taken of your loved ones in any way you wish. If there is anything you would like me to correct, transfer or remove from this site, please do not hesitate to ask.

My one wish for my fellow Find A Gravers is to focus on what you CAN do and not waste your efforts on what you can not do.
Happy Hunting!

Thank you SO MUCH for this photo of the Farmers and Elys!! It solves the problem of dates of birth, too, which is an added benefit.
God bless you and your efforts.

Thank you very much for taking this picture. She was my grandmother, Frances Wolf Irwin, sister. I also confirmed that John's middle name was Jack. Thank you again. Have a great Day. Friends Dot Little, Houston, Texas

Your help for grave photos
Patty,
I wish to GREATLY thank you for your rapid response to my request for photos of the Kossak graves. I am a genealogist and history author and try to accurately document my family history, as well as others who need my help. However, my recent request was in support of a friend who I meet regularly at the local Colorado Springs, CO, Dog Park. I tried to use my limited knowledge and resources to help her out, but ran into a problem.
My friend is about 55 years old with an aged mother in a retirement home in Wisconsin. Her mother told her very little about my friend's Lithuanian-born grandmother, Agnes Kossak. But what she did say was that Agnes entered a mental institution in about 1943 due to mental complications following her son's entry into WWII. My friend's mother indicated Agnes died in about 1944. However, my recent research suggested Agnes did not die in 1944, but lived many years later.
Your photos proved that she died in 1959 because she has the same tombstone as her husband (who we know to be the grandfather), William J. Kossak.
You have solved a great mystery for this family and added to their family history.
If I can be of any help to you, please do not hesitate to ask.
