William Chapin Woodcock
Dorothy,

William Chapin Woodcock was the cousin of my great-grandfather, John Henry Cooper (1847-1927).

I would like to be able to manage this memorial you submitted so I can make corrections, add family links, and expand on his biography.

If you don't want to transfer management to me, please make the necessary corrections and links.

The biggest error that needs to be corrected is the year of birth. W.C. was definitely born in 1831 not 1821. His parents, William & Catherine, were married in Aug 1821 and he has four older siblings (Horace, b. 1822; Martin, b. 1824; Marietta, b. 1826; and Reginah, b. 1828). His birth was followed by siblings Martha in 1834, Mary in 1836, Ira in 1839, Frances in 1841, Franklin in 1843, Lewis in 1845, Benton in 1849 and Carson in 1851.

W.C. Woodcock married in Jan. 1861 at age 29 to Rachel Belknap and they had 7 children born between 1863 and 1876. W.C. was 60 years old when he died in April 1892.

Would you mind if I ask you to transfer ownership of this memorial grave to me? I am related to the Woodcock's through his mother Catherine (Cooper) Woodcock.

Thanks

Ron

Asbury Pearne and Caroline Tharp Starr
Hello, Dorothy,
You were very kind to take and post the picture of the tombstone of Asbury and Caroline in the Bellfountain Cemetery. Would you give permission to upload this picture to my family tree? My family tree is on Family Tree Maker and syncs with ancestry so I can share information with others researching the same lines.

I know that the photographer has the copyright to all photos, so we are to get your permission before using them on another web site.

Thanks,
Jacki in Mexico

Thomas Alderson, #10424527
You left a note re: Thomas Alderson's Civil War Service on his wife, Anna's memorial, #29874072. Are you kin to them? How did you know abt. Anna's maiden name & dob & Thomas's Civil War service? I am Burkhart family decendant attempting to write an accurate memorial for them & both of their daughters, Marguerite Alderson Burkhart & Ethel Alderson. With all sincerity, Kathie L.Webb Blair,

William Harvey Wallace
I am adding the possible daughter to the William Harvey Wallace that you took a plot picture for. I see that there is a shared plot. Can you please tell me his wifes name so I can be sure thats her father and mother? The wife is still alive. Thank you.

I just want to thank you so much for taking the photo of my grandmothers grave for me. It means so much to have it. I have regretfully lost touch with my fathers side of the family since he died in 1960. I just so appreciate the help, she was a wonderful woman, who worked hard all her life and outlived three of her children. As a young child I have many good memories of her.
Again, I thank you so much!
