I am Diana Moore Medina and I have been doing family ancestry since March of 2012, I came across findagrave.com and decided to look for relatives and add relatives. I also help with the Sabinal Cemetery. I am a descendant of four large families in Fredericksburg on my maternal grandmother's side, they are the Conrad & Karolina Ahrens family and the Peter & Elisabetha Alberthal family on one side and on the other it is the Heinrich & Sophie Borchers family and the Friedrich(Fritz)& Amalia Wilke Family on the other side. This is where a major part of my fascination came from. And then my other families also just fell in to place. Gillespie County has the best Genealogy out there!!!|
My other family names consist of the following: Moore, Horton, Burns,Taylor, Massengale, Truitt, Streib,Newberry, Brantley, Crumpton,Schmerfeld, Brandau, Burke,Shearer, Smith, Crissman, Montayne,Haire, Miller, Haas,Andres, Angermiller,Dollahite,Patterson, Brown, Halliburton,Hale,Santleben, Ricks,Santleben, Grossenbacher, Heuchling, Paul, Petefish & many more.
If I can help you out with research let me know, I love family ancestry!!!

Thank you so much. I will keep a look out to see if they have any relatives buried there. I looked at their children in the Find A Grave site and it seems they are buried in other places. I am like you, it makes me so sad to find someone in an unmarked grave. I am trying to find the graves of Ella Hardin Hermes and afraid that they are also in unmarked graves.

Thank you for researching the location of the graves of Ella (also known as Ellen) Elizabeth Hermes, Find A Grave #47498129 and Otto Adolph Hermes, Find A Grave #47498104 in the Sabinal Cemetery, Sabinal, Uvalde County, Texas. I hope you will keep them in mind and possibly find them. The may not have headstones. Thank you for the photo of the entrance to the cemetery.

Diana - Thanks for adding My Aunt Gordie's nickname to her memorial.

Oh, thank you so very much. These are some unsettling deaths. Ethel, the daughter, spent over 40 years as a resident at San Antonio state hospital. If you look at the side of her death certificate, there is a note. I assume there was no one left in the family to notify. I do so appreciate ALL you are doing. Becky

Thank you for taking the pictures of the Peoples headstones for me and looking for the Hobbs one. I know the Hobbs one was there at one time - I remember reading about it on a message board why was a Hobbs grave I the middle of the People graves. If you ever need one in Colorado please let me know! Kathleen

Your photo is greatly appreciated. Don't know what families would do without wonderful Find A Grave Photo Volunteers like you who give so much of their time. Many thanks!

Hello, Diana. Can't thank you enough for the photo of My Great Grand Uncle's headstone. I was truly surprised to see that he was a veteran of the Spanish-American War. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. Becky Kinkade
