Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am Diana Moore Medina and I have been doing family ancestry since March of 2012, I came across findagrave.com and decided to look for relatives and add relatives. I also help with the Sabinal Cemetery. I am a descendant of four large families in Fredericksburg on my maternal grandmother's side, they are the Conrad & Karolina Ahrens family and the Peter & Elisabetha Alberthal family on one side and on the other it is the Heinrich & Sophie Borchers family and the Friedrich(Fritz)& Amalia Wilke Family on the other side. This is where a major part of my fascination came from. And then my other families also just fell in to place. Gillespie County has the best Genealogy out there!!!
My other family names consist of the following: Moore, Horton, Burns,Taylor, Massengale, Truitt, Streib,Newberry, Brantley, Crumpton,Schmerfeld, Brandau, Burke,Shearer, Smith, Crissman, Montayne,Haire, Miller, Haas,Andres, Angermiller,Dollahite,Patterson, Brown, Halliburton,Hale,Santleben, Ricks,Santleben, Grossenbacher, Heuchling, Paul, Petefish & many more.
If I can help you out with research let me know, I love family ancestry!!!

Edwin Molton Compton
Hi Diana,
Did you ever find what your great great grandfather had written down about Molton Compton. His 87 year old nephew said he hear Molton was accidently injured , so the story goes, while attending a dance party...And complications set in and he died later.

Looking for to hearing from you.

My best,
Alice Thanks for sharing the photo of him with all of us.

RE: Gonzales grave at St. Patrick's Cemetery
That's very interesting about the great-grandmother of one of your friends! Because that lady was the first wife of my wife's great-grandfather and she and her mother didn't even know he was married a first time. His side lived near LaVernia.

RE:Your email
Hello,

I did receive your email regarding those 3 graves. I called and spoke with a Diana at the funeral home but she said she would get back to me once she gets the plots of those 3 graves. I didn't know of their feelings about this website, though negatively but if they do reply to me I will contact you again. Another guy emailed me as well asking me to call them and I told him what I told you. So we're all at a stalemate for now.

Henry Clay Compton
Diana,
Thank you for comfriming the spot where Henry Clay Compton was buried in Sabinal Cemetery...I am sorry that he has no stone...He was my great uncle, but as I said he was single, and his brother may not have had the funds at the time of his death..I have his nephew, George Howard Compton #25600427 and wife Lila Simmons Compton and their daughter, Helen Louise Compton Howard #24994626 as all being buried in the Sabinal Cemetery ...They all have headstone photos. I am not sending Lila's # as I have 2 different numbers for her and need to look her up. However, she is linked to her husband and child. George Howard Compton was my 3rd cousin. I don't know why they did not show up on the Sabinal Cemetery records...
Sorry I made and error saying your g grandmother may have had something written down for Edwin Molton Compton, it was your gg grandfather instead. I am hoping you can find it. I received at letter from George Howard Compton years ago, saying his brother died in 1911...but no details at all.
Thanks you for all your work and kindness.

P. S. His brother and uncle were buried in the Sabinal, Uvalde Cemetery. Brother George Howard Compton 25600427 and wife & daughter Helen, and an uncle Henry Clay Compton buried in an unmarked grave...# 92653116. I just read where you have done work in the Sabinal Cemetery. Henry Clay died Feb. 14, 1914 and there was no headstone found for him that I could find...He had no children and maybe his brother Geo. William could not afford a headstone at the time.
