I do my genealogy to honor my mother. She was very interested in our family history, both her own as well as my dad's side. She was always trying to peak my interest, to no avail. About a year after she passed away I was going through some of her papers and I was bitten by the bug.
My main interests are with the Kamery, Fahey, Howard, Hyde, Chrisman, Hill and John families of Nebraska, Missouri, Virginia and Olean/Hinsdale, New York. I have a special interest in Madison Square Cemetery in Loup County north of Taylor, Nebraska.
If you are interested in an original copy of any picture I've posted please contact me and I'll be happy to forward it to you.

I've made the additions you sent except that his death certificate says he died in Graham, Nodaway Co., MO not Andrew Co. I've attached his death certificate to his memorial if you'd like to take a look at it. It also says he was born 29 JUL 1847. Do you know if 1846 is correct? | | | James Grooms

You are so welcome...we have had snow off and on but I go out on warmer days. I have taken so many photos at the Broken Bow Cemetery I am beginning to get to know it pretty well and it doesn't take me too long to find the stones. I'm pretty sure this Sophie Katherine Taylor is my Great Grandmother (my father's Grandmother on his mother's side of the family) We know she was born in Germany. Sophie's husband's name was Richard David Taylor and her parents were William Haper and Willimina Mering. Sophie and David had 10 kids.. I would love to have this grave for my family list.

I reviewed the James and Clarissa John family - I found Edward in CO and sent a suggestion to link him to his parents - you had already linked his dau., Maxine to him so maybe you just forgot to link him - I found his b. date, but couldn't find his death date - Viva is not on Find A Grave, but I think you should add her to his cemetery - is Goldie Price (1899-1937) is the only missing sibling? do you know who she married, and where she lived? by the way, I sent you about a dozen suggestions in 2011, 2012 - should I resend them??? :) k | | | Bob Lawrence

What did you decide about his wife Mildred #51579936? If you want her, I will transfer to you.
Will try to get a better photo of Lawrence's gravestone, when the weather clears up. Snow now.!!!!!
