Bio and Links
Bio Photo As a child in Fannin Co, Texas my family with my father's parents went to Oakwood cemetery once a month. Outside the gates was large boxes with shovels, rakes and other tools. This was in the 1930's and 40's. The cemetery was all dirt during this time. We pulled the weeds, cleaned and raked the graves, and planted flowers. My brothers and I loved hearing the stories of our relatives as we did our cleaning.

Thanks for the feedback, the information is correct just wondered who sent it. That was not correct. I am related but not according to Find A Grave guidelines so if you want to transfer that's fine but if not I certainly understand.

wondering
I was wondering if the Franics Lowery was a teacher in Oklahoma. I might be one of his students.

Mary Lola Gibbons
I am intrigued by the bio that is from Dixiemadame stating that Myrtle G Walker stated Mary Lola was her baby sister. I grew up knowing Aunt Myrtle's grandsons, Kerry, Randy, and Kenny because my mom and their mom's were 2nd cousins so I am wondering who the "dixiemadame" is that said Myrtle was her grandma, maybe I'm forgetting something. Only person I can think of female would be Myrtle's great grandma- Laila, which is Kerry's daughter.

Thanks

Penny Pryor

My great grandma Della Gibbons and the father of Mary Lola were brother/sister.

Ralph Franks
RE: Ralph Franks at WCHS
Thanks for clearing up my foggy mind. I did have a Janevia Clark in my class. But you created another unique situation in your note. You were at Johnson and I had a son, Bruce Franks, who spent an entire career in the Aerospace Industry as an Aerospace Engineer in Ft. Worth with General Dynamics / Lockheed Aviation. He was a member of the team that developed and tested the F-35 VTO airplane that is just now going into production. After the final flight testing was finished, he retired and came back to Tennessee in 2011. He came back prepared and expecting to care for his mother and me, but he died totally unexpected on Nov 02, 2013

Ralph Franks at WCHS
Jenevia, my name is Ralph Franks and I graduated from White County High School, Sparta, TN in 1953 and it really stuck in my head that there was a Janevia Clark in WCHS at that time. Was that you? Ralph Franks, rclarkfranks@blomand.net
