Thanks to all Findagrave staff, volunteers, friends and family who have made this site worthy of praise and thanksgiving.|
Special thanks to photographer Darrell Landrum who provides most of the images of graves in the Old City Cemetery, Lynchburg, VA. He added many photos to my virtual cemetery, Mississippi CSA soldiers.
Let me know if I can make additions and corrections to memorials or transfer your relative's memorial to you. Please use the Edit tab to send your request.
"We can't resist this rifling around in the past, sifting the untrustworthy evidence, linking stray names and questionable dates and anecdotes together, hanging on to threads, insisting on being joined to dead people and therefore to life."

She was a dear friend of mine. The news of her passing came to me in the form of a newspaper announcement, which I was not able to completly read or save. I will try to find her final disposition. Kellam

Concerning the inscription on the headstone for Ann Anderson at the Old Boney Cemetery in Sumter County Alabama. It should read "Wife of C. Anderson" instead of "Wife of G. Anderson". My information shows that C. Anderson was Calvin Anderson, my 3rd great grandfather. Ann was his second wife as he was a widower. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the information on her son! I've updated her memorial with an extra link.
THANK YOU for your time & effort in trying to get a photo of his gravesite.
With the info you've kindly provided, I added to his plot info that he was reinterred at Chester CourtHouse, S.C.
Alas, he isn't listed here on F.A.Grave asbeing there, so I don't yet know which cemetery he now rests in.

Hi Linda, this is the soldier who is resting beside Thomas Paschal Wilson. I found him in the book "Behind The Old Brick Wall", in the Diuguid records and on the kiosk, but still don't think his name is spelled correctly. If you have a memorial set up for him under his correct name, please let me know so I can reference him. Utter confusion with Private Wilson's grave being marked PCP.
Thank you so much for your help and patience with all of my errors :)
