My husband (USAF retired) and I (US Army veteran) are now working our second careers...USPS for him and Retired for me. Some days are tougher for me because of my Multiple Sclerosis but my husband has been strong for me.|
Many thanks to those that have asked and allowed us to take pictures of their loved ones. If we are managing a memorial that you would like transferred to you ....just let us know! Memorials should be with loved ones whether they are related or not. All we ask, if transferred, is that you did not request the transfer just to trash the memorial. Now is not the time to vent an old enemy or maybe an ex.
Some photos are harder to read than others due to nature or decorations. We will not rearrange decorations if it is not a request for a headstone. If it is a request, we will try to get a clear shot and then replace the decorations where they were.
We will walk the cemeteries that others won't. Some memorials are hard to find but we will try AND hopefully succeed.
Our pictures are your pictures. Feel free to beg, borrow, steal with no intent to return. You are more than welcome to use the photos we take and we are honored. We take pictures of headstones out of kindness ... not for our ego or for the "numbers."
No one should EVER be forgotten. What goes around comes around.
Live, love, laugh. Tomorrow may not be there for you but today is!

Thanks so much for photographing the gravestone of Julia D. Bretzke at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. With the exact name on and location of the stone I have slightly modified her memorial. Thanks so much! -Chris

Thanks for (yet) another extended family relative transfer. As you might guess, I have been researching them and adding documentation to the records at findagrave and elsewhere.

Dear Bill and Denise,
I wanted to thank you for photographing my great uncle's grave marker. I remember the picture from decades ago when I was a little kid but to be honest, I had forgotten what he looked like. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.
I also wanted to thank you for taking a picture of my great-grandmother (Guadalupe S. Ledesma) and grandmother (Juanita P. Esquivel). Our great-grandmother was a positive force during our formative years. Even though she passed away in 1977 I think of her often; I thank The Almighty often for putting such a strong woman in my life.
Last but not least, I noticed that the pictures for my great-grandmother and grandmother did not match the DOB and DOD shown on the headstone.
My great-grandmother is the one without glasses. She was born on 12/12/1888 and passed on 3/26/1977.
My grandmother is the one with glasses. She was born on 8/4/1906 and passed 5/21/1997.
In closing, I live in Houston, Texas and if I can ever return the favor, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Alejandro E. Martinez
