|Michael S. Ray||RE: Allen A Chapman|
Hello Pat, regarding your Allen Chapman and his wife Sarah A. Thompson from Virginia and my A. Anderson Chapman and his wife Anna Thompson from Virginia from the same time period, I now believe sure they are not the same people. It may turn out they are related, but they're not the same individuals. Mine migrated to Georgia; their descendants then migrated to Alabama, but that was a couple of generations later. Thanks, Michael.

Allen Chapman is my husbands greatgrandfather. We would love to visit his grave site. Can you give us direction to St Anthony/GreenHead Cemetery in Russell Co, AL

Yes, I've been to this cemetery several times over the last few years. Recent maintenance work there has been by Paul Davis.
The Chapman boy, Morgan, should be linked as a son of Penelope and her husband (see the 1860 census).

I'm writing to you about your memorial for Allen A. Chapman (#87018833). I believe this might be my ggggf Anderson Chapman.
In your memorial you list his wife as Sallie Thomas Chapman (#30786416), for which there is a memorial page created by J.K.M. Land for her which contains a note saying her name was Sarah Ann Thomas. My records say Anderson's wife's name was Anna Thompson.
I don't death dates or locations for either of them and I'm working to find out if these two people are them.
May I ask where you got your information from that this is Allen A. Chapman and that his wife was Sallie (which often was a nickname for Sarah back in those days).
