Any memorial that I am not related to will be gladly transferred following FAG guidelines.|
My direct family lines are BECK, BRUBACHER/BRUBAKER, KILLIAN, OBER, FEHR,
HERSHEY, HOSTETTER, METZLER, NISSLEY.
These families are of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Currently I am the Family Historian
for the "Brubaker Families of America."
Also the Rankin/Renkin families of Pennsylvania.
And my father's family HOGARTH and MOTLEY are in the Philadelphia area, and Lancaster & Schuylkill Counties.
Now researching the DUNSTER family of New York.
I've been recording names as I go, so I can help the next person looking for that missing family member.
Any corrections or missing information you would like me to add, just forward it on to me.

|James R. Freeman||Henry Gable Memorial|
I'm not sure why you deleted your memorial, which was clearly created first. I'm sorry if you may have misinterpreted my message. I wasn't asking for you to delete it. In any case, thanks for adding your photo to the duplicate.
|Kay Lanning Hochstettler||William McKinley|
Thank you again for responding so quickly. My 32-year-old, conservative, banker nephew was going to get a tattoo symbolizing Washington's body guards if the rumor proved true. His mother is the only one in the family who will be happy that our gggg-grandfather was not one! I appreciate your information, and wish you all the best!

Thank you for responding so promptly! You have already provided me with information I didn't know before. I am also learning how addicting it is to follow Find a Grave! I am trying to prove my pioneer roots in Hancock County, Ohio, through William and Hannah Rankin McKinley's son John, whose family entered the county around 1836. You have given me hope that the connection can be proven!

A "1776" star marker is pictured next to the headstone of William McKinley, my gggg-grandfather in Cannonsburg Cemetery in Hancock County, Ohio. A local historian told me that he was actually a bodyguard for George Washington. I am a recent member of Find A Grave, and wondered if there is any record that would prove or disprove the authenticity of this claim. (He may also share family ties with you, as well, since his wife was Hannah Rankin McKinley.)
Thank you for entertaining a question from a novice!
|Lin Stoltzfus Mease||Sarah Killian|
Hi, Sarah's baptismal records indicate that she is the daughter of Samuel and Susanna Schwartz Breneisen. (Birthdate is the same as is on tombstone). Sarah was married to Emmanuel Killian. Also, at the time of Susanna Breneisen's death, a newspaper reported she was living with at the residence of her son-in-law, Emmanuel Killian. Could you please link Sarah Breneisen Killian with her parents who are also buried in Salem Union Cemetery. Thank you!
|Lin Stoltzfus Mease||Elizabeth Killian|
at Salem Union Cemetery. Cemetery records indicate that Elizabeth Killian was born July 16, 1820 and died November 25, 1879.
Could you please add the birth year and the death year to her information?
People have mistakenly believed that this is Elizabeth Breneisen married to Samuel Killian. If you could add the year, it will clear up the confusion because Elizabeth Breneisen was born on June 24, 1807. Thank you.
|LVPennGen||Irwin Y Detweiler|
I am descended from the "adopted sister" Mamie Detweiler Renner that is referenced in Irwin's obituary on his memorial. I am interested in purchasing an Ancestry DNA kit for a descendant of Irwin's to prove or disprove my theory that Mamie is actually an illegitimate daughter of Irwin, and not his adopted sister. Would you mind posting the following on his memorial for me?

Dear E. Renkin,
Thank you so much for all the edit changes you have made on all the Reigart/Reichard memorials.
I unfortunately made a typo on the transcription to Anna Reichard's memorial referenced above. Please change Pfaliz in the 4th line to Pfalz.
Thank you and again thank you for the many edit changes I have submitted that you have made.
|Lenore Akerson||Spouse of Jacob McQuate|
I see that you have Elisa Pickings as Jacob's spouse. However, if you look at her grave marker, it is not the same shape as Jacob's. Also Jacob's son states that his mother was Susan Pickings. If you look at Susanna McQuate's grave marker http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=McQuate&GSfn=susan&GSiman=1&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=20784604&df=all& it is the same as Jacob's. My records show that Jacob McQuate was married to Susan (Susanna) Pickings rather than Elisa.
Hi, I found a batch of Hagy persons in the Mellinger cemetery. They are mostly earlier, but it is a long way from Hernley cemetery. Any other help is appreciated.
