RE: Jessie MacDonnell nee Sara
You're very welcome.

We looked up Jessie MacDonnell's death registration [on the BC Archives site {} and she was buried at Hatley Memorial Gardens on 15 Dec 1992. There is a dedicated photo volunteer that responds to photo requests at Hatley in a very timely manner. We suggest you make a memorial page and do a photo request.

Date of Birth: 19 Nov 1899 Liverpool, England
Date of Death: 12 Dec 1992 Victoria, BC

Informant was son L. A. MacDonnell of 4075 Grange Road in Victoria (Postal Code V8Z 4V6). He said Jessie's parents were [no first name] MacDonnell (father) and Sara William (mother) - doesn't sound correct?

MacDonnell - Photo of Grave Marker
We took a close-up of his daughter's gravemarker too. "Carell Haynes Mar. 6 1921 - July 30, 2012. Loving Daughter of Horace and Jessie MacDonnell"
If you'd like to create a memorial page, we'd be glad to upload the photo of her gravemarker as well. Her obit reads as follows:

RE: Thanks again!
You're welcome. And by all means you should come by and visit Glenwood if you're interested. It's in NE Washington near Catholic University and you can park anywhere along the lanes in the cemetery. So it's no problem at all.

RE: C. M. Keys
You're very welcome. And yes there were several other members of the Keys family buried in the same plot. There are separate stones in the ground for:
Hannah Frances Keys 1848-1933
Charles Fendley Keys 1853-1914
Sarah Elizabeth Keys 1883-1947
Olive Marguerit Keys 1890-1966
Charles F. Keys 1852-1914
And also for Charles M's wife, I think Mary Ann.
I didn't check to see if memorials already exist for any of these people. But I'd be happy to post the photos...I'd only ask that you sent out a request for each one so I'll get credit on the site for responding to them. Thanks!

RE: Louisa Beach Baum
It could have sunk into the ground. There was a project in a NYC cemetery to mark the graves of Civil War veterans. When they went to install the new markers in many cases they found the old ones sunk into the ground!
