|I am retired and live in central Texas. As most of us have, I found FindaGrave while doing research on my family tree, and now find I prefer gathering information in a cemetery to sitting at my computer. My husband, T.C., and I have recorded information from 20 of the cemeteries in our immediate region and now our goal is to go back and take photos of all|
the memorials we have entered.
I add all information with great respect, so if you find I am in error in any way please let me know and it will be corrected.
Thanks for all the nice e-mails we've gotten.
PLEASE DO NOT add death certificates to any memorial I have entered.
Please use the (SAC) "Suggest A Correction", which is under the EDIT button on each memorial, for any of the following:
- if you have additional information
- transfer requests.
NOTE: When requesting a transfer, I would like to know your relationship to the individual.

you probably think I'm some sort of a nut case...but I just now found this note from you>)
I just looked at Mary Ann and it's Davie Co., NC...so sorry....
I am following up an an earlier request to see if you would transfer memorial #47653190 for Sarah Mechling Blake Spang and her husband Frank Armitage Spang #47652667 for me to maintain. Mechling's mother and my great grandfather were siblings.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

Thank you Trisha for the beautiful picture and reminder of my parents grave. They are at Mitchell Cemetery, Iredell, Texas, Bosque County, Texas. My sister and I are visiting their site next week, while visiting my cousin. My sister spent most summers in Iredell and love it.
Sincerely, Elna McAden-Hoffner, California
|Justina Irwin||John Henry Walker|
I am hoping that you are a relative of John Henry Walker. Please let me know if you are. I am trying to help out a family member reconnect with this side of her family. He would have been her Uncle. You can reply or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you Justina

|Richard Darnell||Memorial Transfer Request|
Sarah Mechling Blake Spang #47653190 is my 1st cousin 2X removed and if you would transfer her memorial and that of her husband, Frank Armitage Spang #47652667, to me I would be most appreciative. Her mother, Mary Jane Darnell Blake #36484243, father and brothers have recently been transferred to me.
Thank you so much for the work you do for Find A Grave. It is a treasured resource for family research. Due to your help, I have established contact with Sarah Mehling Blake Spang's granddaughter, my 3rd cousin, whom I am meeting for the first time today!

Hello: Wanted to forward this message to you.
The findagrave page wasn't created by me. The person who created it listed the dates. Gene's father was my great-uncle and I never met Gene's family. Gene's daughter Cadda is named after my grandmother who was Gene's father's oldest sister.
Thank you for your information. I'll forward it to the person who created the page. Honestly, I don't know. Perhaps your information is more accurate.
Again, Thank you.

Reading over some of your messages on Findagrave, I noticed a posting for Mary Margaret Evelyn White, wife of William Eugene 'Gene' Tinkle. I have she was born about 1920 and died 1997
""Name: Margaret Evelyn Tinkle
Titles: Gender: Female
Death date: 25 Mar 1997
Death county: Dallas
Death place: Dallas, Texas, United States
Collection: Texas Death Index 1964-1998""
Hope this is of help to you.
Do you allow the use of your photo's? I'm interested in the one for Benjamin T. Perry # 25388714.

Thank you so much for the photo of "Little Willard's" gravestone (#18381378). I noticed that you took this photo just a year before I even started doing ancestry research. I attached a photo of him. He was my Grandparents son who died tragically from a ruptured appendix in a cart accident. I linked him up with his parents, which should go through in a couple of days. Thanks, Trisha.
