I became interested in genealogy in elementary school, and I started actively researching my family in middle school. I've enjoyed every adventure since then.|
I came across FindAGrave.com when I was trying to do some family research for my husband's family. After finding one of his family members, I decided to search for my own family. I was surprised to find that a number of my Dad's family in Missouri was already posted online with memorials. I was so grateful that someone had gone out of their way to input my family online. After all, they didn't have to. They weren't related to them, didn't know them. After that I decided to become a member in hopes of keeping alive the memory of my relatives as well as others even if I didn't have the privilege of knowing them, for I want to return the favor that was shown to me.
My husband, Mark, enjoys coming along and visiting cemeteries with me. He claims half the pictures we've posted he took, but I'm not so sure. :-)
Please leave me a message if I have made any errors in my listings, or if you have additional information.

I added a photo of 'Louie's' gravestone, and a copy of the photo from the stone. I hope this was okay.

Hi Sarah Lee. I am from Finland and writing a book of relatives. I'm now searching information about Eva Maria Kunelius who immigrated to USA. Maybe you can help me with her descendants? And if I could have photos I would be very happy. Best wishes, Kati.
The grave photo for Meredith Creel Phillips is his parents grave. Is he buried in this cemetery or just his parents?
|Kati||Marshall Simpson Carter parents|
I was wondering where you found Marshall S Carter's parents names? Do you have documents that can confirm this or family history? any info would be appreciated.

Sarah - Thank you so much for posting the picture of Bee Cooper and his wife! They are a few of my wife's relatives that I was working to link on Find a Grave, and the pictures help a lot. Thanks again!

|Cynthia Smith-Cloughly||Possibly related?|
My husband, William (Bill) Cloughly is the son of William Andrew Cloughly, who told him that his real grandfather was an Aldridge/Aldrich, and we're wondering if your James Theodore is him. He was born in OK and there is a family resemblance. My husband's father also told him that his half-sister had contacted him, and we're wondering if that was you?

I saw your posting of a picture of William "Gip" Cox in Cottonwood Cemetery, Jack Co, TX - wasn't sure if you added the picture of him and his wife and son or not but I think I have a picture of him as a young man. If you're not related, do you have any contact info for who posted that family picture? I'd love the share it with them and confirm that is who is in the photo (with his brother, Eddie).
