The stone conveyed your name, your birth, and the date you reached the throne.
I put a picture on this site, a legacy to what you've sewn;

Please correct the spelling in these memorials:
106452419 and 106452434. The last name is spelled H E N R I C K S - without a "D". Thanks so much. Fran

RE: Elsie Goodwin
I would leave it St.Paul, Decatur Co. because the town is mostly in Decatur Co.(which is Adams Twp., which is all the obit states). I don't know if you are familiar with St.Paul, but the county line goes thru the town, the lesser (west) side is in Shelby Co., which is Noble Twp. Soooo, when obits say 'died in St.Paul' you never know which county death actually occurred unless you go check death records, which makes it difficult. However, FindaGrave does not show Saint Paul in Shelby Co., when I know for a fact there were ones born on the Shelby Co. side.

I think Kurr was the earlier spelling of Kerr, but as far as linking her parents, I was confused, because there is a Andrew at Paul Hill Cem., which is in the town but he's md. to May Allison (which I just sent a link) per their daughters obit. At Union Chapel, which is south of St.Paul (& Germantown), there is a Andrew KURR 1849-Unk (no death date on stone, so may not actually be there or he remd. & is buried with another wife; because the link is to a Mary E. 1859-1895 (not Sadie, as in obit), and the Sadie KURR listed is not old enough; however there's also a Andrew J. KERR 1865-1901 With spouse of Mary E. 1855-1895 and I don't find any other Sadies.
So I gave up, we would have to do more digging.
Thanks, Linda

RE: Elsie Goodwin
Her place of death was Shelbyville, Shelby Co. I don't know why I would have said Decatur co. Sorry!!

On her place of birth though, lets remove "Saint Paul" and leave the Decatur Co., because obit says born in Adams township, Decatur Co. (that's not necessarily St.Paul).

Thanks, Linda

Update - received additional information from the cemetery office. The crypt is unmarked. Location photo has been uploaded. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Rhonda, I claimed your request for a photo of this burial and went to the stated location today. I was unable to find the crypt but there were several blank slabs in the vicinity of where this one is supposed to be. I can usually pinpoint unmarked burials by identifying the location for the surrounding marked interments but today this didn't work. There doesn't seem to be a pattern for crypt numbers in this particular mausoleum so I will contact the office to see if they can help me come up with something. I hope to know more in a day or 2.

Hi Rhonda, Did you get my "Edit" for his obit I would like to post? His Mem # is 33143874 in the Van Pelt cemetery. In case you don't know (I didn't till recently) you can just "copy & paste" it in.
If you would rather just transfer you can, my # is 47568088--Linda Meyer. Or, if you did not get it, let me know & I'll resend it. He was one of the soldiers that died in the Spanish Flu epidemic.
