This cemetery is located outside of Pleasanton, Nebraska. You had made a request for this photo, but i didn't find him buried at that cemetery.

|Sandi Knippelmeyer||Joseph Hendrickson - Pleasanton NE|
Hi - I was at the Pleasanton Cemetery today and could not find his grave marker. Looked on the directory and his name isn't listed. there are several Hendrickson's in the cemetery, but no Joseph.

Yes that is correct, she was cremated and her ashes were scattered per her request, on Mother's Day, by her children. Uncle Carl was cremated too.
Your doing really good work on the McNews, I had no idea, he came from such a hugh family! Now I know where my cousins, blonde hair comes from.

I love that you have placed, both pictures my Uncle and Aunt on Find A Grave site.
Would you just notate on their cropped photos, that these two pictures were cropped out of family photo, taken in Aug 1952 at the Sink family reunion.
Nice to see you are putting your on Find A Grave family too:)

Rhonda, I have deleted the one from Holy Cross and transferred the correct one to you. Thanks so much. If you don't have any luck finding the number for Acton Cemetery, let me know, I live in Indy and am only 20 minutes away from the cemetery. The contact number is on the maintenance shed. I will post the photo for Mary Alice.
|Mark McCrady||RE: Mary Alice McNew & Clifford Earl McNew|
Well shoot Rhonda! I messed up in 2012. I was taking photos at multiple cemeteries and evidently put him in Holy Cross instead of Acton. I saw him at Acton today, so I can verify that is the correct cemetery. I'm not sure how to go about this, I have never done this before. If I delete him from Holy Cross, all the links will go to and we don't want that. How would it work if I transferred his memorials to you. Then you could add the links to the correct one at Acton, then delete the one at Holy Cross. I am sorry for the confusion, I was fairly new to Find a Grave in 2012 and was taking way too many photos in too many different cemeteries. If you have any better ideas, let me know. What do you want me to do with the photo of the unmarked grave? Should I post it? I guess the way to confirm if this is Mary Alice is to call the sextons at Acton and ask them if this is her. Let me know what you think.
|Mark McCrady||Mary Alice McNew|
Walked the whole Acton Cemetery today looking for these photo requests. I believe that I found Mary Alice in an unmarked grave next to her grandparents, Dale and Mary Belle. I took a photo of the unmarked grave in relation to the grave of the others in the plot. There also is James and Ethel McNew in the same plot. I walked the entire cemetery and never found a stone for her, so based on the fact that this unmarked grave is next to her grandparents, I believe this is her. Would you like me to post the photo on her memorial? I will leave it up to you as you are family. Also, you may be interested, I found the grave of her brother Clifford Earl that died in 1937, and put up a memorial and the photo. Let me know what you think about this.
