|I've been doing genealogy and family history work for twenty plus years, ever since I was a young Boy Scout. My dad's early research really was the inspiration for me to continue, and I have enjoyed researching the history of my family as well as the time periods my ancestors lived.|
I believe this site is an excellent way for me to share some of the research that I have done with others. Likewise, if I can help a distant cousin locate a photograph of a tombstone, I can give back to the genealogical community. So many others have helped me throughout the years, and this is my chance to give back.
While my goal would be to include photographs of as many tombstones of my ancestors/relatives that I can find, I have also recently began walking cemeteries near work on my lunch hour, and am posting them here.

Re: your request - I am unable to give you any info as I am not related to Elizabeth Holzhauer.
Someone transfered all of the Holzhauers in Scott Cemetery to me and I just have not done anything about it as I didn't really know how or what to do?.
William and Rose Opfermann Holzhauer are the only ones in my family tree.
Sorry I can not be of help.

Hi Travis, Mary Ellen Swafford is 3rd cousin 2x removed. I do not have very much information on her. I know her father is Peter Kirkpatrick Swafford. Her grandfather is Larkin Franklin Swafford. Nancy is all I have for grandmother. I am sorry I don't have any more information....Peggy

Hi Travis. My mother Pamela wanted me to add the Mengle family photos that you wanted to see to your memorial pages. I added pictures for George Mengle (1823-1844), Susanna Rumbarger, & David, Ella, George, & Lionel Mengle. Thanks, Melissa Mengle

Thanks for the pictures of Louella's grave. While I have visited there some years ago, I can't find my pictures and live in Michigan. Louella was my great grandmother. Is she an ancestor of yours? If so I have some information you may or may not have on my ancestry tree. It includes her picture as well as pictures of her three children. If you don't have access, let me know and I could email to you. I have been involved in genealogy for over 20 years and love it. Right now I am gathering documentation that proves that Alexander McClintock b. in 1732 in Ireland is my direct ancestor. He was a soldier in the Revolutionary War out of a militia in Pennsylvania. I don't know if Find a Grave notifies by email if there are messages. If not you can reach me by connecting through Ancestry.com. Thanks again.
