I Want To Thank Find a grave For Helping Me Find A lot of Family.

I am creating these memorials and adding pictures to help others Only, my source is mainly from the pictures I take, I will not ask no one to delete a duplicate memorial as I am no ones boss, I believe everyone should have a way to be contacted through a public message and not dish out orders or ask for requests with no way to respond to them. This is my own personal feelings but it just makes sense.... .

Please Check The New Auto Edit Feature 1ST.

RE: GeorgeAmbrose Family
Oh wow; you poor kids and your dad, talk about abandonment issues. I can't begin to imagine what you guys went through. At least all of Killian's kids were grown when wife number 2 left; still it is different when hearing about something that happened over 100 yrs ago compared to your own lifetime...
I bet you can stay pretty busy getting that many additions/corrections a day(especially if you need to check out similar names, dates, or places etc---so many Johannes, Johns, and George's; and what was their middle name again?----to quote Dr Sam Beckett's groan, 'O boy'); certainly will keep one busy when the winter weather keeps one out of the graveyards;-)
Thanks again, Dave. Edna

That would be awesome! Thanks for the reminder on the 'edit button' I am so used to thinking that the one who puts up the original entry is the only one who can do additions. That way; I have gotten to meet new people with similar interests all over the country (and maybe pick up a long lost cousin into the bargain-2 or 3 so far).
My husband and I have found some really interesting bites about his Ambrose branch of the family; re: Killian Ambrose, George's father, was 'politely invited' to find another Church after bringing in a substitute preacher from another denomination - most likely one of the reasons that the family left PA and moved to Peru, Indiana. Then there was Killian's 2nd wife who; the story goes, ran off with everything! All the gossips must have loved it, heh heh.. Such is the spice of a family-tree climbers life!
Thanks in advance for any new tidbits you may run into; again I appreciate the great picture. Edna King

Clifford A. Brown #73874694
I noticed you have posted a grave photo for Clifford A. Brown #73874694. Would you be so kind to add the same photo to his wife India Gertrude Brown's memorial #73874776? Thanks in advance and thanks for making previous edits that I requested.

I add more photos, obits etc than I request. I also pay out of pocket for obits and other photos from newspapers like wedding announcements, etc either through annual on-line subscriptions or out right paying for each individual obit if that is the only way to find them. I've paid people in other cities to go into libraries to copy of an obit or page out of a book if the library would not. I've also added more memorials than are under my name...because if I create a non-relative to post an obit or photo, news article to....the second someone sends me a transfer request..I check to see how many memorials they have and how they handle transfers. If they follow strict Find A Grave transfer guideline then I will be strict with them and not transfer unless I have to. In some cases I will delete a non-relative memorial so a cousin/aunt/uncle/friend of that non-relative memorial can create the memorial for him/herself and then re-post my obit or whatever. There are very good reasons to delete because of a deep Find A Grave design flaw. On balance, I give to Find A Grave more than I receive but what I receive makes it worth it. I will continue to post newspaper articles of all types...but will cut back on who I send actual edit updates to. Now that I answered your question, lets agree to disagree.

Thank you for reminding me. I have been meaning to contact which owns Find A Grave. I want to ask the CEO to limit the number of memorials one individual can manage. As far as the edit update feature, I won't worry about that now because I just set strict standards on who I send my edit updates to. I read the bios and review the number of memorials managed and keep moving if I don't like what I see.
