I have always been interested in my family history and loved hearing about them since I was a little girl. I have been involved in geneaology for over 20 years. |
I have been appointed "family historian" and I am proud to have that title. Even as a child, I loved visiting my relatives graves. There is so much history in a cemetery.
If you find any errors or would like a photo or interment removed, please e-mail and I will be happy to do so. If you would like to take ownership of a memorial, please contact me and I will get it switched over. It is always better for the family to own the memorial.
I volunteer to help others fulfill their quest for their family history. This is done with the utmost love and respect. This is a great way to memorialize your loved ones and mine.
My family surnames are Homan, Stammen, Kreig, Rentz, Rhein, Replogle, Goodpaster, McEowen, Millet, Moore, Jones, Gossart, Decamp.
Many thanks to the creators of FAG. They are doing such a great job!

Lucy Potter (27946615) and Thomas Potter (27946616) headstones are in need of restoration. I am a gravestone conservator fully trained and certified in working with historic gravestones. Let me know if you would like a free estimate to restore these stones.

good morning......thanks so very much for the photos. i appreciate your helping me to honor our ancestors and relatives and to build a better family tree for all to benefit from.
I found this website for some McEowen Biography.I remembered you when I found it. I have seen the photos you have posted for Sarah (my 4th great grand aunt)and Alexander. We have made contact before. I forgot if I already asked for permission to use your photos. I always ask first, and always give credit to the photographer. Here's the website:
There are three McEowens on the site. I sent the one for Alexander Hugh McEowen to the memorial owner.
Thanks again for your work.
|Steve Pearson||Pearson-McEowen connection|
Hello I have a round about connection to the McEowen family in that my 2nd great grandaunt Nancy Pearson dau of Abel and Sarah Pearson married Jacob Richard McEowen son of Alexander H mcEowen (1778-1863) and third wife Anna Compton. I happen to have in my possession a photo album that Nancy's sister Sarah Pearson Penny owned. In it there are a few pictures that are unidentified or only partially identified. I believe that there are McEowen pictures on at least two of them that have written in pencil "McGowen" on them. I also believe due to the order of the picture found in the album that I may have one as well of possibly Anna Compton. I was hoping that wee could exchange pictures or information in my quest to try and identify the unidentified ones. If you're interested contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I suspect what I have is one of Alexander H McEowen, one of Anna Comptom and possible one of Jacob R McEowen. The photo album has some old writing on it the reads " Oct 9th 1865, A present from Alexander H McEowen to Sarah Pearson. price $4.50 cts"
