Your Message to Bob Hope

Hi Daniel!

I was leaving a note for Bob Hope, so I saw yours.

I MUST thank your family for all the JOY Disney has given me and my family and my husband.

What child of the latter part of the 20th century didn't grow up with Disney? I remember always dressing up as a Disney Princess for Halloween (back then, it was only Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, or Cinderella), watching The Wonderful World of Disney on TV and-dream come true- finally going to Disney World, in the summer of 1978! Ground was just being broken for EPCOT.

Disney gave the world an EXAMPLE of how to RISE, when, THE LITTLE MERMAID put THE MOUSE BACK IN THE HOUSE (THE BLACK.) He's been there, ever since. I LOVE to see all the new Princesses (My favorite is Belle, as she is French and a bookworm, as I am (French on Dad'
s side). For my 10th Wedding Anniversary, my husband (we call each other Mickey and Minnie, as we are just as silly, and he says I look like Minnie) and I went to Disneyworld, having the best trip ever, second only to our honeymoon! We'll be back: several times!

Our DVD collection certainly has several Disney films: also, for the first time, last year, thanks to You Tube, I saw DUMBO, and discovered The Silly Symphonies. Thanks to our realtor, around Christmas, we were treated to a free screening of FROZEN.

I don't use the words BRILLIANT, INSPIRING and HEAVENLY to describe things, often... but DISNEY (and BOB HOPE and his wife, Delores) were, and always will be, in my, and America's hearts!

HAPPY SPRING! ANNE
