I'm a swimming pool contractor M-F and on most weekends I teach scuba diving lessons. I take photos above and below water.|
My Grandmother is burried in Pacific Crest Cemetery and a Grandfather at Green Hills, both of these and Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery are very close to where I live so I don't mind going there to photograph headstones or markers for families.
I love the search for my ancestors and I'm sure you do too. I have been on Ancestry.com for a few years now and really appreciate the few photos that I have, I think of my photos to the members here on "Find a Grave" as gifts to them and the generations to come to share about their families.
Unlike many who take photos for this web sites, I WANT you to use my photos with your family tree.
Take and enjoy - share with your family and friends. These photos I take are a small gift from me to you. They are YOUR family, not mine, they are "copyright free" so use them as you see fit.

Thank you for your kind words, Walt. Yes, I actually had some at Green Hills last week, too. I even had the spouse of one of his many claims and I asked him if he would please release his claim but he wouldn't, and so he took his own photo. Why would anyone want to duplicate another's efforts? I don't know, but I'll keep my opinion to myself for now. A few years before he arrived on the scene, there were at least 3 of us, maybe more, who would go to Green Hills. Now, the only reason to go is to take lots of photos and add them to the existing memorials, which is just as fulfilling, although you may not hear from anyone about it. I'm not doing this for the thank yous. It is nice to be appreciated, but I know that the information will help others in the years to come, and that is what is important.

Thank you so very much for obtaining this photo! I am from Missouri and the chances of me getting to California to take the photo myself was not possible.
I really appreciate you taking the time to volunteer to go out of your way to add this photo to Woodrow's Memorial. Your kindness and generosity is touching; may it be repaid tenfold!
Blessings to You!
