I have been interested in family research for several years now. I have only been a member of Find A Grave for a short while, but I've been taking cemetery photos for many years.|
My mother & I live and take photos in the Los Angeles area. We're always happy to help where we can. However, it helps us a great deal when plot information can be provided. Not all cemeteries are Find A Grave Volunteer friendly (particularly in L.A.).
I am happy to share the pictures I take, provided they are not being used for profit. I do this to help families find families, and to (hopefully) improve family research, not to make a buck. In other words, it's fine to use them in your personal ancestry trees, etc. Just please don't use them in anything you plan to sell.
If any of my managed memorials belong to your family and not mine, I am happy to transfer them. Just send me a SAC with your ID#. I believe they should be in the care of their own family whenever possible. Or, if you have more information on any of my family members, please let me know, I'm always happy to update memorials with even more information.

I believe there are duplicates for this memorial. The other one is #70450545. Yours has much more information although the other has a headstone photo. I have another child to link to him so if you can resolve the duplicate that would be great. Thx for all you do.

Thank you so much for photographing this grave for me. I truly appreciate your time and effort.
Thanks so much for the photo for Alfred Hamel. I had only his initials and rough birth date!
|Aunt Jan||Re: Clodis Fisher|
I can't thank you enough for the photo of Clodis' headstone photo. I really appreciate you for not just the clear photo, but also taking the time and effort to wipe the debris and and mud off the stone. He is part of my husband's family that they thought they would never find due to all the aliases, adoptions and divorces in that line. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so very much for taking the time to take this photo and to add the captioning. I really appreciate it. :-) I will add it to the family tree book that I am working on.

Thank you so much for your care and attention in finding my great grandmother's gravesite.
I started to search for info about Woodlawn, thinking of perhaps adding a marker to her grave. Only then did I realize what a troubled history the cemetery has. It's a sad story. Your efforts to locate graves, take photos, and add explanation is very much appreciated.
