|I am so thankful to this website and to the many many volunteers that have contributed their time and talents into creating such a awesome resource we can have right at our fingertips!|
I love Genealogy and would like to give back to others as many have done for me. By doing my part in taking photos and adding names to Cemetery lists, I hope it can help someone somewhere.
I live in SW Oklahoma and am researching in my own family the following names: Bromley,Chaney, Clark, Cross, McWilliams, Overstreet, Rea/Ray, Roper, Stroud, Crew/Crews, Lee, Johnson/Johnston, Harper, Cowan and many more.
I also work on my husbands family tree. Most of his family members lived on the East Coast-Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts and Canada. Some of those names: Brown, Huntley, Pollard, Lavigne, Patry and Clark.
Please email me if I added a listing for a cemetery and there is a correction or addition that needs to be made.
When taking photo's in cemeteries, I do not feel comfortable photographing and will not do so, a Headstone (whether single or double) and the individual (s) listed are not deceased. Only exception is when I am 100% sure that the person has passed away but the headstone has not been updated or I have permission from the family.

|Jill Cooper||RE: Erasmus Rupard # 45775634|
I am so sorry I missed this so long ago. I believe my GGGUncle was Erasmus A Rupard (son of my GGGGrandfather Peter (and Catherine Krause). Erasmus A had a son Erasmus Collins and I do have some family in the OK area but I didn't know it went back to that generation (but makes sense). I would like to what more you have. The Rupards (Ruppert, Ruperd, etc) have been very mysterious to me--especially last names of some of their wives. My personal email in email@example.com and the link to Erasmus page on my Ancestry is :
http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/25011947/person/1656703399. There are photos we got from some TX Rupards but I don't know them. Would love to know more. Thanks so much, Staci!
|Betty Vaughan||J. L. Riggan|
Do you have any other information about who J. L. Riggan was? I have a photograph in my Granny Stewart's old photo album of this grave when it was new. As far as I know, there is no one in our family with the name Riggan. However, my grandpa was a Lewis and adopted by the Stewarts. I know nothing about his birth family. Any information you might have would be helpful in solving this old puzzle. Thank you.

I don't know why I didn't mention it but the lone gravemarker is a Johnson. That's your famiy? It says Mary wife of J.T. Johnson born 1873 died 1900. It is found in the town of Bessie. I also have Johnson's in my Family Tree.

I took their pictures over the weekend in the morning. It was way to hot by noon. I enjoy going out and looking at the headstones. Tomorrow after work going to Peace Lutheran Church to talk to the pastor. Hoping he knows of the picture I took of a lone grave found on the side of the road two miles down. I feel bad for the people that have no-one.

Thank you for transferring the memorials. I appreciate this very much. :)
|Robin Wootton Carter||Noah Dillard and Alice Frances Barnes Hyder|
My name is Robin Wootton Carter. Noah Dillard and Alice Frances Barnes Hyder were my great-grandparents. Their daughter, Thelma May, was my grandmother, and her daughter, Velda, is my mother. Would you please consider transferring management of their memorials to me? I love researching my family history and would very much appreciate this. Thank you for your consideration. :)
|AJustissCrews||RE: Overstreet Family|
You're welcome. I initially got the info from a deposition attached to DC Overstreet's application for Confederate Pension. Deposition given by UW Hollis, a bro-in-law who knew "all the boys".
