I've been tracing family history for myself and other folks since 1999.

I discovered that several people have used my photos and posted them to ancestry.com without crediting me. I have registered complaints with ancestry.com, and they are in the process of removing the photos.

Really, I don't mind if someone uses my photos AS LONG AS YOU CREDIT YOUR SOURCE, and the source is clearly *me*. Because if you don't credit the source, I will get an alert from ancestry.com that there is new material available, and when I found out that you stole a photo from me, I will not be happy with you.

Let's face it, we're probably all related by blood or marriage, and that's a pretty wide pool. So let's be generous and kind, and do the right thing, people. It's not very much to ask, and you look like a fool if you don't.
