I'm 36 and a Sagittarius. I enjoy long walks on the beach, books with large pictures and answering the silly "about me" questions asked in web site profiles.|

I am looking for a will or probate record for my gr gr grandfather James S. Reed 1827-1879 who was married to Amanda Lucinda Stephenson in 1879. Also any documents with his middle name - Samuel or Simeon? He has 2 sons with each of those middle names. While buried at Mt. Carmel,in Eudora, AR, I am not sure of his place of death and residence at that time. He owned land in MS, LA, AR, and TX. Any help is appreciated.
P.S. Do you know what the "hand shake" symbol on his marker means? An organization he belonged to?

On the Find a a Grave site his middle name is spelled Arvie.

Thanks, Michael. . . .
This happens frequently and cannot always be explained. A lot of times someone has spelled a name incorrectly, the name is misspelled on the tombstone, or they create a memorial on the same day as someone else. I've actually committed some of the above offenses myself and they exist for months before someone corrects me.

Oh Gosh, I hate to hear this. My Grandmother, Grandfather, two children, and
my two little sisters are buried in that
Cemetery. I hope the graves are covered with water.
My brother lives in Monticello - I am going to see if he can find out if the water went over them.
I hope not.
