Findagrave.com is a wonderful collaboration of people who love family and history.
Photos of one's ancestors' stones are great records.
I just wish everyone would choose headstone materials that stand up to time and are not "biodegradable."

Claymans
Hi Ava,
I just put in some pictures for Harry Clayman in the Guard of Moses Cemetery in Everett and Marjorie Clayman in the Liberty Progressive. See, I am keeping my eyes peeled for you! I was trying to fulfill some other requests in those cemeteries and saw some of your people. I saw some other Claymans in Liberty but they have already been photographed. Apparently, someone is working on photographing the entire Liberty site but she missed Marjorie.

Ave, let me know if there is any memorials you would like me to transfer. I am not related to most of the memorials. Happy to have been able to help. Diane

Hi Ava,
I posted the pictures and I will keep an eye open for any more of your family including the Shatkins.
As of now, I don't have any.
Take care,

Garbers and Madows
Hi Ava,
I found some Garbers today at the Rabbi Isaac Elchonon cemetery in Everett, MA.
Celia D: 3/24/1998
Helena D: 12/24/1989
Goldie D: 7/18/2004
Harry D: 11/20/1943 and wife Rebecca D: 5/15/1948
George D: 8/2/2006 and wife Doris D: 12/4/1970. If you would like to request them.

I also photographed several Madows in the Poali Zedek but when I came home and checked ddjohnsonri already had memorials and photos for them.

Take care,

Ann E. Keefer
I removed Ann E. Keefer from the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD since she isn't buried there. She is the wife of John S. Keefer, but I had the wrong cemetery. Please remove the Mount Olivet Cemetery tombstone pic you posted to Ann's memorial#55302697 since the pic you posted is for a different Ann Keefer.
Thanks

RE: Garbers and Madows
Duly noted about Ellenberg, I do have a written list when I go out. I have learned that my memory was better 20 years ago when I didn't use it some much...

RE: Garbers and Madows
I initially posted the photo for Louis and then took it down because I didn't want to risk having the wrong person even though I was pretty sure he was the right one. This particular cemetery has about 20 different sections, I only looked in 2 or 3 today.
This place will definitely keep me busy for a while.I have a good idea about your family names so I will always be on the lookout. I am heading to New Hampshire for a week or so and plan to visit a "haunted" cemetery in Portsmouth and fulfill a few requests there. And then on to the mountains. Have a great weekend.

Garbers and Madows
I have a bunch of photos for you Ava. First, I think Hattie Madow's husband Louis is buried right beside her and not in Brookline.
Louis 12/25/1882-4/19/1961 is right next to her and on the other side is
Sadye 4/29/1915-11/10/1980. Also is
Abraham Madow 4/14/1895-3/22/1979,
Esther D:1/9/1992,
Julius D:7/18/1975 and
Rose 6/16/1899-7/31/1955.
There are a group of Garbers also:
Maurice D: 1/1/1961
Lena D: 4/21/1978
Florence 12/12/1923-12/3/1983
Abraham D: 3/4/1958
Esther D: 4/1/1946
Elizabeth D: 3/6/1944
Joseph D: 2/28/1943
Henry D: 8/29/1943.
I was a busy girl today!

RE: Pride of Lynn
Hi Ava,
I placed a new picture on Sarah Garber's page with the inscription visible, photographed the marker of Isadore and Anna Peckerman and added their birth dates to the page and also took a photo of Paul Garber's marker, he died, 5/2/1962. Paul doesn't have a page and I thought you would prefer to create the memorial so if you would like to request it, I will be happy to add it. I didn't see any other Garbers, Peckermans, Ellenbergs or Ballins, but my trip was cut short by a sudden downpour which I failed to escape! Actually, it felt great. I think that all Garbers in that cemetery have been documented. There are 3 large stones in different locations with several people in each plot and all have been photographed. I will, however, keep my eyes open.
My best to you,
Anne Blake
