|rickohio3||Frances Thiers Lichter|
I noticed you are the memorial maintainer for Frances Thiers Lichter.
I have been researching that line which is related to my kids' mom's side. Some family members use the name Thier (or Thiers or Therz) while others use the name Disselbrede.
If this is a family you are following, I'd like to compare notes.

I added the additional information on Nicolas but my information was derived from cemetery records, stones and death certificate.
Variations in name spelling occurs
I was trying to figure out how to link the Http: to the memorial but did not.
Thanks...are you a relative?

OK. So far, I've found two other Wagner memorial pages at St Mary of Mt Carmel that actually belong at St Mary's Cemetery at Gilbertville. I've contacted Lynn to ask him to move them too.

Shirley's pages were created before mine. She just needs to be contacted and asked to move them to the correct cemetery. If you are linking families, you should link to Shirley's Michael and Mary Miller Wagner pages, and not mine, because mine are being deleted now.

Sorry about the first message. I checked my files, and the original photo folder containing Michael and Mary Wagner, as well as some other Wagner family stones, are definitely located in St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilbertville, not at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Cemetery (the Find A Grave web page is misnamed as it is not St. Marys of Mt. Carmel). All of my photos from July 31, 2010 were taken at Gilbertville. The photos on my page were taken on July 31, 2010, at 1128.
Shirley needs to move her pages to the correct cemetery, and I will delete my duplicate page. The Cedar River is visible in the background of Hiesela's photos, and the Gilbertville cemetery overlooks the river. The other cemetery is on Eagle Road, about 20 miles from the river.
Thank you for making me aware of this.

The headstones in that lot all had different names, none with the last name Kremer. I forgot to look for Peter's name while I was there; I'll probably go back in a couple of weeks, so I'll look again when I go. Thanks for letting me know!
|Andrew Daft||Vincent Gauchel|
I noticed your photo request for Vincent Gauchel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine. I'm planning a visit there soon, but unfortunately I won't be able to search the whole cemetery. If you can contact the cemetery office and get the plot location and then add it to the memorial, I should be able to get a photo for you. The cemetery's contact info can be found at racinecemeteries.org.

The Humes monument in Fairview cemetery has fallen down face forward. The inscription can not be read.
The footstones are from top to bottom:
The caretaker will make the repair soon.--Storres

I am very distant family - Anna is the sister of my great grandfather John Stener Johnson (1854-1896)
Thank you for your assistance with Rudolph's page. If you would like to send an obit, I'll post it. Please include the publication and date with the obit.
