|Bio and Links (Doyle Duncan)|
After I retired, I started researching my family history. In doing my research I noticed that I was finding some who where not on Find A Grave, so I became a Find A Grave member in 2009.
When I find anyone in my family that is not on Find A Grave website I add them on. I appreciate those who have added memorials for my family and if any of the memorials I have created you find errors in or would like to transfer the memorial to yourself, please contact me. My family research interests are, Duncan, Blevins, Epley, Britt.

|SuzieGerl||Gerlitz Family Crest|
I have been researching the Gerlitz Family for some time now, in an attempt to find an accurate depiction of my husbands family crest so that I may incorporate it into an anniversary present. His Grandfather is Asoph Carl Gerlitz, which is how I found this page. I don't know if any of the passed Gerlitz's incorporated their crest onto a headstone, or have a record of it, but I figured it was worth a shot. You seem to have documented many gravestones, including my husbands grandfather, which we named our second son after, and I was wondering if there was anything you have seen in the past that could point me in the right direction? In my research I discovered that Gerlitz was originally Gerlitzki, they dropped the "ki" when coming to America after escaping Nazi Germany, but they were originally Polish Jewish. I have found Family crest's that claim to be "Gerlitz" and some contradict each other, but never have I found anything on a Gerlitzki Family crest. I greatly appreciate any light you can shed. Thank you so much for your time.
You are very welcome. I was in Illinois for a few days and spent Sunday visiting graves in Lakeview Cemetery. I
saw your photo request and found Joy And Judy in the newer part of Lakeview. As you know, the other side of the headstone says Beavers .

Greetings! This cemetery does not give out grave locations to photographers, citing privacy reasons. Please call (419) 536-8321 to get the exact location, as there are thousands of burials at Ottawa Hills. Thanks!

|Kathy Burkett||Duncan Memorial|
Hi: This will be my first volunteer claim to help. As soon as some of the snow melts, I will get out there. Hopefully, sometime this weekend I will be able to see the grave stones. Too much snow. I am so happy to help. I have had others help me, so I know how exciting this can be.

Thank you for the family links info..... it has been added. I assume her maiden name would have been Blevins. If that is correct let me know & I will add that also. If she is your relative I would be glad to transfer her memorial to you.
