RE: Find A Grave Correction: Richard Storrs
Hello again; I'm not sure if an email you sent may not have arrived, but although you replied to my message regarding sources for the parental links for Lt. Richard Storrs, I haven't received any source information. I did try (briefly) to locate some confirmation of the relationship, but was unsuccessful.

As stated in my original reply, I'll be glad to connect the links but need some confirmation.

I WAS able to find at least two other memorials for Lt. Storrs, which I presume were a VA marker in Hillside Cemetery, Cheshire, which is where Edwin and Elizabeth Storrs are buried, and another which looks like his actual gravesite in a Military Cemetery in France, the latter photo having been posted by yourself.

I think, from your most recent RECIEVED reply, that you understand why I need reliable sourcing before I make additions and connect links in my memorials. The fact that this fallen soldier has at least three graves just on Find A Grave is enough of a source of confusion to those researching the family that we don't want to add to that confusion. I have at least one relative on Find A Grave who has at least two gravesites, and I've gotten a few comments on that.

Thanks for your Find A Grave contributions, and for receiving this message in the spirit it was sent.

Please feel free to get back to me on this.
My eMail address, if you'd prefer a more private
communication, is on my contributor profile page.

Pvt. Benjamin Ellis
Thank you for this information concerning Pvt. Ellis. I was pastor of the Bethlehem Church for 6 years, knew a number of the Ellis family, but never heard any of this story. This was way before find A Grave and it was such a large cemetery but I didn't spend much time in it. The help is appreciated that we might recognize this Veteran for his service and sacrifice.

Directions: About 1 miles from Raines Milling Co on the road from Princeton to Pikeville SR 1002.
