I very much appreciate photos being added to the memorials I create, however, I ask that when photos are added to memorials that I own, please be sure it is a quality photo showing the entire marker, and that the photo is not sideways or upside down. I take great care to take nice photos for the memorials owned by others, going as far as to edit them on photoshop to ensure they look the best they can. I would appreciate the same care for photos added to memorials I own. So if I see a photo that is sideways, I will edit it to be rotated correctly and then repost it.|
You may use photos I have taken of grave markers, but please note credit with "© BJShields Find-A-Grave Member #47495665".
I appreciate any information anyone wants to share that can be added to any of the memorials I've posted. I don't mind transferring ownership if the memorial is not one of my own relatives.
If you would like to use a personal photo of a person, please check with me first (unless it is a photo I included from an obituary, which I note in the caption of the photo).
If there is a photo or any information that family members would rather not be included on a memorial, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will be happy to delete it.
If you happen to notice I've entered a duplicate of another memorial, don't get upset, just let me know and I'll be happy to delete it. I make every effort to ensure that I don't create duplicates.

|Andrea Frazier||James Tilghman|
Caroline Ann Tilghman is living in PA after her husbands death and is in the Directory in 1861 as the widow of JamesTilghman.Yet you say he died in 1868.?This must be a mistake / was a picture of the grave taken ?James and Caroline are my ancestors.Caroline moved out of Baltimore after her husbands death.I have another record of his death as 1845.
I recently added marker photos for Charles Keithley (#116231990), Sarah Keithley and Maude Keithley. The ones I added are not of the full marker since I wanted to get close enough to get good images of the markings. We did Photoshop the photos to get the best reproduction. Afterwards I noticed your request for "full marker" photos; If you wish to remove the photos, I'd understand, and apologize if they do not meet your standards.

|Brian Lowery||Re: William James Lowery|
Interesting that you only have one of his parents, Emily A. Wilkinson Lowery - 1810-1892.
I would like to know his father, because I think he is the link between William's descendants and the descendants of James Edward Lowery.
William had a son, Warren, who had a son Maynard who was a boat builder, who had a son Doug, who still lives on the island.
James Edward had son, William Joseph "Dick" Lowery, who had a son, George Lowery, who had a son, Barnes Lowery, who was my dad.
Doug and I are about the same age, and I'm convinced that we are related, and I think the missing link is William James Lowery's Father, who in all likelihood was also James Edward Lowery's father.
Hope someone can help.
|Linda Robertson ||Alice Ann Harrison Jamart|
She is my great great grandmother. I have her original marriage certificate to Lloyd Thomas Jamart. They were married on April 27, 1880. They had 6 maybe 7 children but only one is linked. I am searching for more information on the burial sites of her other children. Her 1st child, Thomas James Jamart, b. 02-16-1881, d. 05-22-1932. Burried Mt. Olivet Cemetery, St. Michaels, Md. Her 2nd child, Eulia Vernetta Jamart Sinclair, b. 05-03-1884 d. 04-12-1909. Burried in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, St. Michaels, Md. Her 3rd child, Enola Virginia Jamart Sinclair, b.04-23-1887, d. 1949. Burried in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Cambridge, Md. Her 4th child Lloyd Alford Jamart, b .01-17-1890, d. 05-14-1904, burried in St. Michaels, cemetery unknown. Her 5th child, William W. Jamart, b. 09-05-1893, d. 05-23-1897. I believe there is a 6th child but don't have evidence yet. Her 7th child, Alice Mary Jamart Suter, b. 12-19-1898, d. 01-20-1964, burried in California, cemetery unknown. I do have an original birth register kep by my gr gr grandparents but it only has her first 4 children listed. Is there any information you can provide me? Can you link the siblings to her? Are you related?

Hey BJ, I haven't heard from you in ages. I hope all is well.
Sometime ago I gave you some information which you updated on a memorial and since then I have had the opportunity to do some more digging. So with that being said would you please take care of the edit I sent you. You gave me credit in the memorial for correcting the maiden name on the stone which was actually wrong. I have done enough digging to know that I was wrong to begin with.
I sent you the obit for Mary.
Thank you and sorry for the confusion.

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I believe Charles D Floyd is buried in Florida, but I don't have a location. The Floyd family relocated from Harrison Co. IN to Florida after the 1820 Panic, when Davis Floyd was appointed a territorial land commissioner by James Madison.
