Since childhood I have been fascinated with photos of persons of the past. When I moved to Maryland this easily translated to photos of grave sites. One day I stumbled on the findagrave website and have been on this adventure since. The requests allow me to visit places I never imagined as well as help familiarize myself with the geography and history of the area! What a plus for a relative newcomer. Professionally I am a nurse with an specialty in public health. The shorter life expectancies and causes of death that preceded us enhances my appreciation of the many advances made, now for our benefit.|

|lcdodge50||Thanks for the pictures|
You are right, they are hard to read but it is great to have the picture now. I doubt they will improve with time. I like having the photo of the stone. It is a piece of evidence that really did live and die. I looks the weather was good on the day you were there, I hope you were able to enjoy the outing. again my thanks

You folks have rain, snow and cold and here in California we are having Spring weather about two months early. All of the fruit trees are blossoming way too early; if we have a return to normal and the temperatures drop, then Reedley, CA will no longer be the Fruit Basket of the World, the basket will be empty. At this point in time we usually approach the rainfall average total of 6-8 inches and I have measured 1.25 inches since last July. The mountain snow pack, which the valley depends on for irrigation, is about 13% of normal average.
Anyway, regarding the photos, if you use the free software that I told you about, you can easily resize them and then they will be straight up. I don't what the problem is, but Free Stone will alleviate it. In the case of the two photos that we have been dealing with, I doubled their size and they were fine, well below maximum size limitations for Findagrave.
I took care of the two Jones memorials re: the photos; I cited you on both of them. Just take yours off the memorials. You should download a free program that is great for working on pictures, i.e. resizing, rotating, and lots more; it is FASTSTONE IMAGE VIEWER

Thanks for sending the picture requested by my son, Dale.
Do you have any relationship with Upper Banbury?
I also need to find the Month and day of the death of Thomas R. Cox. Would they be available in the records of the cemetery?
