Requesting a transfer through the Edit feature insures that no mistakes are made. I manage too many memorials to research each one. If I find out later that an edit sent to me is not accurate, I may change it. I do not transfer to "Anonymous" nor do I do edits from them, without some explanation of the source of the information.
I love to see the memorials come alive with biographies and family history....and photos of our loved ones. I just LOVE it when I can help someone!!!
I have been researching some of my families since about 1978.
"A person's life was more than the dash between years...." That dash represents your entire life and we need to live it wisely.
My grandmother went to cemeteries with me, and once said she would like the following to be on her stone: "WE LIVED TOGETHER, WE LOVED TOGETHER AND NOW WE REST TOGETHER". I Just fulfilled that request!!!!
PHOTOS: PLEASE GIVE CREDIT FOR MY PHOTOS THAT IS HERE ON FIND-A-GRAVE IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. I TAKE PHOTOS TO SHARE----NOT TO KEEP AS MY OWN. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO USE THEM, PREFERABLY WITH CREDIT.
I recorded and submitted the ORIANA CEMETERY, near Peacock, Stonewall Co., Texas in about 1986, which can be found on the internet by doing a search. (It was possibly submitted to interment.net)
The Oriana Cemetery at findagrave is here.
Why I research and why I work with Find-A-Grave:
THEY DESERVE TO BE REMEMBERED AND RECORDED!
The names and dates on the stones represent a life lived. These people aren't just names on a stone---they once lived, laughed, loved, were happy and sad, shed real tears, endured pain.
They sometimes endured pain to the end, and they deserve to be remembered == not as names and dates on a stone, but as REAL, LIVE, LOVED people who had a story to tell! Some of them raised children, and some didn't. Some died way too young or as children. There is a story between those dates that you see on the stones. That is why I will research them and record it as best as I can, and SHARE IT HERE ONLINE WHEN I CAN.
PLEASE DO SEND A MESSAGE TO ME IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR SOMETHING NICE TO SAY!

Hi Nancy: I am trying to find where Robert is buried, do you have any knowledge as to his location? I thought it was Blue Cemetery in Greenlee County Arizona but the search did not yield any results.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Mrs. J. P. Woods
Corrections have been made. Thank you for letting me know about your findings.

Hello Linda, I am the great great granddaughter of Henry David Locke. I just read the bio for him on your Find A Grave memorial. I wanted to make a suggestion for a correction to his bio. He was never married to a Margie. This is his sister and I believe that you (or someone else) got this info off of a census record. I remember seeing that and then proved that this is in fact his sister. I looked for the census record but was unable to find it. If you could please change this info I would be most appreciative. I don't want others reading this and adding incorrect info to their family trees. Thank you so much. Lori Lumsden Smith

|April Suggs||RE: Hello Nancy|
Hello Nancy, HMU, means Hit Me Up LOL...i guess we are also related ?? I been up all night, trying work out the older lines of Wilkie, I got frustrated, I found another connect, idk if her info is wrong,or the person's on Find A Grave..I haven't done much with the Brezell lines, got snags. It's hard cause of my acct status on ancestry, esp when most just do their own pedigrees. So part of the Wilkie line is confused up past Isreal..I could really use help now,so what u wanna be editor or contributor..I am doing more then my pedigree,u nvr know when someone will need the help..It's a big tree, don't get lost..I just find easier to communicate with others on FB,since I am a gaming addict too.lol. That's where you'll always find me. My email firstname.lastname@example.org 5707891222

Thank you for linking James Hushour #134316825 to his parents who are buried in my local area.
Is it possible that you have any more information on him or have access to an obit?
I would be pleased if you would read my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.
