Thank you for photographing the memorial stone for Ellen and her husband Charles. Although her burial place is mentioned in her obit, there is nothing so certain as a photo.
Thanks for the photos in Brookfield Rural Cemetery!

I found a memorial for Charles H Brand in the Mar 5 1917, Utica NY, Daily Press.
UTICA NY DAILY PRESS March 5 1917
Final tribute to Charles H Brand
Ilion, March 4 at the home of A W McGowan, John street at 7:30 last evening. The last sad rites to the memory of Charles H Brand were paid by a large number of sorrowing friends. The services were conducted by Rev. L R Benson, rector of St Augustine's Church and afterwards Rev LR Benson who is master of Ilion Lodge 691 E and A M conducted the masonic service. During the services Edward Roberts sang “Crossing the ____” and Beautiful Late of Somewhere.” Attending the services were over 100 members of the lodge.
The magnificent funeral tributes silently bespoke the friendship held for the deceased and included among the many were beautiful set pieces from friends and organizations.
The bearers were A W McGowan, A K McGowan, H C Burch, Frank A Schmidt, E O Davies and W C ______. The remains were placed in the Richardson Memorial Chapel this morning and later will be taken to Brookfield for burial.

Thanks for finding the stones and the photos!

Thank you so much for all your help. I know how it is. I try to keep some things in my car to uncover headstones & clean crud off of them before I take the photos. But I cleaned out my car last week & forgot to put my little shovel, brushes, & stuff back in my car. When I went to fulfill someones request there was a big bird poop right on the name on the plaque that I needed to take a photo of & I had nothing to clean it with!!
No need to rush, whenever you get a chance will be fine.
Thank you again,

Thanks for taking photos for Lorraine and Lyle Hyman. May I have your permission to add your photos with credit to my Ancestry.com tree?

Hi Sally. In the course of my research into the Palmiter family (my mom's maiden name), I came across your entry for Harold Eugene Palmiter (ID 71490646). I don't think his parents are set correctly, as they both died (Phoebe Wooley died 1911) but his marker indicates he was born in 1917. All of Phoebe and Russell's other children were born in the 1840s and 50s, which matches their birth and death dates. I don't have any additional detail about who his parents actually were, but they probably weren't Phoebe and Russell. Thanks!
